Ok, i work in a flower shop part time, but with every holiday that comes it seems like i work there full time. my boss and her husband are really nice people and they treat me as one of their own. I've been working there for six months now and feel like i need to move on and concentrate on school and do more community work. How should I tell my boss I want to leave?

My partner and I were having a discussion tonight about me going back to work after our baby is a little bit older, talking about how he wants me to have a career and "get ahead" in life. I told him that while I have no problems going to work and contributing financially to the family, I am not career orientated, and that getting ahead and having a big important job are not priorities in my life and that I see work as something that you only do so that you can live and that it doesn't have to be a pivitol point in your life. He disagrees with this and says that all people see work as being an important part of their lives and that I need to get more career minded.

i do NOT want a home based business, i want to work for someone/some company that allows me to work from home. i thought of data entry, but everyone i find wants me to pay them to get info. i don't want to pay someone to work for them - if i could afford to do that i wouldn't be looking for a job. Any legit ideas? Again no home based businesses; i want a regular job that i get to work from home. Thanks in advance for your help.

I cannot STAND it!! There's way too many crazy characters to work w/in the team and I really hate it, but am saving a lot of cash for a school loan AHEAD of time?
Anyway did you notice when you were doing this type of work that there were several different type odd personalities to deal w/working in the team, and how in the world did you motivate yourself to stick w/it for the time being just for the sake of your much larger goals in life?
For ex. my friend and I have to deal w/constant sexual harrassement from one employee and one is unstable and yells all the time......
it's so hard to deal w/on top of all the physical labor, however at the time being there's not much available.......well spring's here so there's hope for better jobs SOON

PLEASE GIVE ME HELPFUL HINTS ON COPING WITH THIS JOB AS I NEED IT for the next few months

My boyfriend loves animals to death, it scares me at times but it's sweet, neway since he has such a love for all of gods creatures, and despite my fear of him being eaten or mauled he has been wondering what it would take to be a zookeeper or a game warden. (Ex. College, Tests, Training, Age) Any info would be appreciated, or if you can think of nething else he should try involving animals, oh we live in Texas if that helps.
XOXO

It is supposed to be a personal contact and I 've got his address back from NY. Should I write him a letter in person?
It is something that I try to avoid to do because it looks as if I am not very professional to use client's contact for personal use.... But I just cannot stop myself for doing so...Am I crazy?
Thanks

I am so MAD because for years this is all he talked about now he has this opportunity and keeps putting it off, Once he takes it, this will mean MORE MONEY. Other people in my dept. have complained about her but, everyone else seems to have forgotten about a lil place called "Human Resources". I went and talked to someone, but now I fear retaliation. I was also told by the Human Resources that this is not their first time hearing this about her. Apparently, the high turn over rate for that dept. must be the ones who can't deal with her moodiness. So what would you do?
