My husband & I dated eight years he was my sugar daddy he's very intelligent/smart a computer whiz all while dating and even while being friends he would always mention how he needs to be A+certified to make more money in the computer business his issue then was not having the money to take the test ,for years I had to hear this over and over being said, Well two years ago we got married and things change for the better he landed a job working for a very Well know Computer Company making Good Money this company is now giving all employees time and money sending them to take this so call A+certification test all he has to do now is just study the material, he has taken the pre test and he past it now he keeps Procrastinating on taking the test. I am so MAD because for years this is all he talked about now he has this opportunity and keeps putting it off, Once he takes it, this will mean MORE MONEY. What is wrong with him, Somebody help be understand what is going on with my husband.

Is he intimidated by the test even though he passed the pretest? Fear does really weird things to people..... just try to be his biggest cheerleader and see what happens!! Sounds like a great opportunity for your family..... good luck! :)

All the following is pure conjector on my part. I am going thru something similar with my husband.
Have you talked to hubby about this... like reminding him that years ago he wanted this very much. Ask him if maybe things have changed and if so, talk to you about it and it will be ok. I tell my husband it's just the being shut-out part that hurts... not his thoughts and feelings. I just want to be a part of what is going on.
Maybe in these past years, now that you both sound like you are settled, make enough money and are happy or content in your jobs, maybe he doesn't feel the need to go further, or wants to slow it down a bit and enjoy the place he is in now.
Talk and understanding is always the best way to go. Sometimes I have to prompt my husband along... "so, are you not wanting to take this test because you are ok with where you are and don't want the added stress?"... that's what I would say...
Whatever you two do, hope it all works out well.

I think it's more than that, I think it's psychological now.
He probably aware that there is alot of computer techs.
that never to A+ and make more $$$ monies than him.
This is probably his hurdle right now, why do it when it's not
really necessary. He's in it already and doing it already what's the piece of paper for???? (for me it's not the paper it's the pratical experience that'll always speak for itself)
and I've been in this business for 25+ years. and I'am not
an MCSE but yet I do "ALL" what the MCSE's do and even
some CISCO stuff. (experience kicks butt, I teach these guys who just got off school and have paper but don't know anything)

PERHAPS MONEY MEANS MORE TO YOU THAN HIM..

BIBLE IS SIMPLE ABOUT MONEY....LOVE OF MONEY IS THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL....

WE NEED MONEY BUT WE NEED NOT HAVE MONEY CONTROL US.

PEHAPS YOUR HUSBAND IS EVEN WISER THAN YOU KNOW.
MAYBE SUGARDADDY HAS GROWN UP.
