Ive resigned from an employer but my resignation was not accepted even with a 30 day notice. Since I am the MD, I understand that they needed a replacement before I could go.The board of directors then surprised me with an unceremonious kick after 2 months, leaving only a week to turnover to the new MD.I left the company 60 days after filing my resignation and they still didn't accept it even with the new MD in place as they wanted me to manage a different office.Having refused to go to work in another office, they won't release my unused leaves pay and won't give me clearance either stating I am not resigned but AWOL.I have been looking for other work options and have found a job in the same field. My former company is theatening to sue me for a non compete agreement which I signed when I first started work.In this mess, can they win if there is a court case given I was not cleared in the first place? My work is specialist so there arent many jobs available in my field.

works at Wal Mart (I would like to hear from some Canadians please specify the city or town you worked if it doesn't give your identity away) or previously worked at Wal Mart is this true? Can you give me specifics: about how much people are paid? Hours? Expectations of management? What do you like about working there, if anything? Would you recomend this job to someone else?

So okey, i have a question i hope i can get some oppinions on.
I've been a resident of the states for about 2 years now and have been working off and on. However, i feel it's time to update my resume, and was just wanting some thoughts on whether you guys think i should put down my work history from when i lived back home in Europe, or not.

I have people telling me different all the time. Some say, the more i have on there, the better, while others say i should just stick to the jobs i've had here in the states, since it's the only relevant ones!

What do you guys think?

My coworker acts superior, questions my work, tells me I'm saying things that I'm not, and does not understand, when I tell him that what he does HURTS. I think it's very inhumane to tell someone "What you said hurts." and get no apology, no sympathy, just more blame...

I've gotten lots of advice so far, and everyone can relate. What should be done?

Okay there is a new guy coming in the department, but he has some sort of physical problem that stopped him from coming to work on time, and he may have to take some medication. first, that may delay a week to work to prove that he can work.
The boss was telling his people about that, specifically what 's wrong with him. Should I say the boss violate privacy? Lawsuit?

I just posted about problems with my wife and you people took me wrong.

1st. I am looking for WORK!! I haven't found the right job yet. 4 years is not a lot of time to find the perfect job. I will NOT work for slave wages or people who are jerks.

2. My mom was JUST helping my wife out by reaaraging the kitchen in the right way..SHE took it wrong..and so did some of you.

3. I like most people eat everyday at the same time...what's wrong with that.

4. I don't cook, I hate to cook. It's NOT my job to make the dinners etc. She agreed to do that BEFORE we got married

NOW.....you get it!!!!!!!!!
