i signed up for cna classes because im really not sure what i wanna do. I think i wanna go to college to be an lpn or an rn but i signed up as a cna first to see just what its like..anyways everyones telling these really bad things about being a cna..like that you have to clean up the dead bodies if someone dies on your shift..One ive never even seen a dead body and two no one in my family has every died..and its pretty much freaking me out..is this true? should i just bail out of the class now? how do you decide really what you wanna do with your life?

OK here is the deal. Ive been a cna for 3 years. yes its true if someone dies on your shift you have to clean them up and put a new hospital gown on them. if smells bother you, your not gonna like it. you gotta clean em up. they are gonna be incontinent.. if u cant handle something like a dead body. then ur not gonna handle it as a nurse. u need to decide something else. u better just bail. u will get used to the stuff, but if u get freaked out, then its not for you. but u can email me personally if u wanna know more.

Take the class and see if you like it. It is probably cheaper than lpn classes and you may find out you don't want to go into the medical field period.
