I am very good at taking pictures and putting them onto a DVD with music, transition effects, etc. Some people have even told me that it's my calling. I am only 14 years old. Is there any way I can start making these videos for other people for a profit right now?

I'm sure there'll be market for them. Check with music companies &/or advertising companies. Am sure they'll need talents such as yours.

Advertise at your local churches, community centers and funeral homes.

I have a cousin that does this, and while it sounds morbid. Many families these days use what you are talking about in funeral services, they even buy extras after to had out to family and Friends.

Put together a nice sampler of what you have done, put on a nice suit and go present your stuff to the people in charge. That would be Event Coordinators, Wedding Coordinators and Funeral Coordinators. Offer to make the first three or so for free, and if they have happy clients you can pay them a small referral fee for future referred work.

Keep in mind, if you pursue the funeral end, you will be under some time crunches, as there is usually only a few day's notice for a funeral and that may interfere with your studies. The wedding side may be a tad easier, especially if you have any older siblings - you can get them to refer you to their friends.

Offering to make a wedding dvd for a present for a Friend, can also be a nice way to get your name out there.

Another market would be taking baby and childhood pictures and making cd's that make wonderful gifts for grandparents.

Another market would be competitions, people into competing with their dogs, horse shows, that sort of thing.

People love the DVD's but lack the skill and time to do them. I think you have a great idea.
