my mom wants me to get a job SOON, and my last job as a hostess was a nightmare. what are some jobs that are GOOD with being flexible with highly school involved and acedemic teens that i won't get anxiety about going in for? specifics are good. what about clothing stores? something. thank you!

I'm a college student and I work for the teachers in need for a research assistant or just an assistant. It pays pretty well for a part time job and you really learn a thing or two from them. Just ask around your campus and you're bound to find a job somewhere. Good luck!

Do you know what you'd like to do after college? If so, try for an entry level position within that industry so you can get a feel for what working in that field would be like. Even if your just a receptionist in a dental office, you'll learn what it'll be like to be a dentist. Get a job as a nanny if you're thinking of a teaching career. Work at a pet store if you're thinking of becomming a vet and so on. It's never to early to solidify your future plans. Your career choice will be a big factor in determining your future happiness so the more you know, the better odds you have of making the right choice.

ya, clothing stores are pretty flexible depending on where u work. you might just go to the mall nearest you, and see if there are any jobs availeble. you might want to look for clothing stores that sell clothes for teens, because theres probably more of a chance you will get the job.

The best thing would be to talk to friends of the family that owns a business and "help out" there.
You might do filing, or you might type memos, who knows. But they'll appreciate having you around for a few hours, and you won't be essential so they can be flexible.
