Travel - 26 September 2007

I'm going away with a group of friends in the summer and we're renting a big villa (11 people) in spain. Because we're 18-25 the company are asking for a 'safety deposit' of nearly 50% of the fee we're already paying for accomodation. Apparently if nothing is damaged this is returned 4 weeks (!) after we return.
Is this a normal policy for companies like this or somethin to talk to a travel agent about?

Dixie Stampede
Clearwater Beach
Cocoa Beach
Kennedy Space Centre
Swam with manitees
Air Boat ride
Old Town
Shopping Galore
Miami (3hrs there)
Florida Keys (just one night in key largo to swim with dolphins)
Arabian Nights ( please dont go to this show!! Animal Cruelty)


Im sure we MUST have not seen loads so does anyone have any suggestions for another great day out or night???

I'm planning a cruise with someone who has a certificate on HAL that needs to be used by the 11th of November.

She gave me 2 cruise dates to choose from - 3rd or the 10th. I originally told her the 10th because airfare was cheaper. I totally forgot that I have $700 worth of tickets to see the Police! Anyway, the 10th was sold out so we decided on the 3rd.

I had to transfer money to her as she was paying with the certificate (I still am getting off cheaper than regular ropcie or single supplement). While that transfer was going on, the 3rd sold out but the 10th released some cabins.

So should I just go for the 10th and try and sell my concert tickets? Or should I wait and see if the other cruise opens up so I don't have to potentially "eat" the price of the concert tix? I don't want to screw us out of both cruises.

I have started to live in Istanbul a year ago. I teach English. I met couple of Turkish girls but unfortunatelly they seem to like my passport instead of my personalty. When I signed up for cable service, I was also offered a trip to Florida/Bahamas in a condo, plus a 3 night cruise and tickets to Disney World. These were from a place called SummerBay Getaways. I have until 2008 to use it. All I have to do is listen to the standard 2 hour presentation on their condos. Has anyone ever taken this and is it worth it, or will I be paying out an arm and a leg???

Has anyone been on the windstar cruise ships. I am interested in their mediterranean cruises and also the ones in central america.

It cools like a cool small ship. how is it? is it worth it? I notice a cruise here is more expensive.than average.

I'm planning to do bottle service at a Vegas Club Saturday Nov 3rd for a mix group of guys and girls in our early 20s. I'm debating between Tryst, Pure, Tao, and Moon. if it matters we're mostly asians & islanders who enjoy reggae, top 40, hip hop, & R&B music..not so much into techno.
My questions are:
1) I hear bottle service tables come with a "guest list" how does that work? Do my 'guests' get front of the line passes & admission, or just access to the table but must still wait in line and pay cover?
2) How much in advance should I make this reservation (2-3 weeks? more?)
3) Any recommended club for our group? I'm thinking Pure or Tao cus it's closer to where we 're staying (the Flamingo).

if the magistrate says i can't leave town, and i live in kissimmee, fl, does that mean i can't leave and go to orlando, which is right next door??? what exactly does it mean when they say you can't leave town? do they just mean don't go far away, or do they mean i can't even leave kissimmee at all, even if it's only like 5 minutes out of that town??? please answer! thanks!
