Join Spirit Airline $9 club, and you can get NY Laguardia to Vegas for $18 one-way( $9 to Detroit, $9 to Vegas)

assuming you dont want to hitchhike....hehehe

roundtrip from jfk to las is less than $350. if you want to save money arrive on a sunday and leave on thursday. also, the first 3 weeks of december are the cheapest prices of the year. and you can also stay at an offstrip hotel (ie; green valey ranch....etc) to save even more money.
