you don't need to stick to an english speaking country! everyone in europe knows at least a little bit of english! wherever you go, you'll have a great time!
i'd go to Prague, Paris, Rome, Vienna.
make sure, the places you go see are not too far apart, cause you are there to see the places and not to be stuck on a train or plane all the time, right?!
have fun! :)

It depends on what you're looking for. If you speak german, spanish, or french well, I'd go to one of the countries where these languages are spoken, at least for part of the time. If you only speak english, I'd stick to the UK for your first trip.

After that, decide what you want to see. Museums? Historical sites? Cultural sites? Shopping? Do you want to do a food or wine tour? Start doing some research to see what's available. My dream itinerary might drive you nuts, and vice versa.

You could probably use the services of a full service travel agent. These people go to these destinations, so they should know first hand what's good to see, and what's good to skip. It will cost you more than by booking it online, but consider this extra your tuition to the school of life.

Oh, and if you don't have a passport, apply for one now. It's taking sometimes 3 months for that, and you won't get out of the airport without it.

Depends on how you will be traveling around.
You can go to Germany buy your German rail pass here before you leave. I spent 2 weeks traveling Germany I saw Berlin, Munich, Nuremberg, Regansberg and some small towns in between.
If you want to see more than one country you can do that but with 2 weeks it more difficult.

For a first time traveller I would recommend the classic hot spots- Paris, Venica and Rome, London, and maybe Switzerland. Have fun!

Go to Prague. You will absolutely love it and it's a bit cheaper than Paris or London.

Here are some other great options that you may not think of for your first trip:
Munich, Vienna, Stockholm, Edinburgh.

All have their charms and you will enjoy all of them!
