I'm thinking of bringing my family on a big summer vacation. I'll be going with 2 teenagers, and one of them is fairly shy. I'm also travling with 2 adults who aren't the most adventurous. Which one? Royal Carribean Cruise or Club Med?

I am going to the Bahamas in March and was wondering about a few hotels. If anyone has any information on Island Seas Resort or Flamingo Bay that would be great. Which one is the better choice? Or should I go for the all inclusive Club Fortuna? This is my first trip to the Bahamas and I would like to stay in a nice hotel.

Hi All,
I will be on Serenade of the Seas, in march. I will be visiting St Marten, St THomas, St. Lucia, Antigua, and Barbados. They are all day trips on the cruise. Any ideas if I need visas for each country as we'll be there for the day? Pls advise!!!

I am interested in St.Lucia, Barbados, or Turks & Caicos. My husband and I enjoy snorkeling, hiking, and beautiful scenery. Out of these three, which one do you recommend?

I am going to the domincan in a week. I am a white male, with dirty blond hair and fairly white skin. Should I tan at a tanning salon before i go to the island. I do usually burn, but thats only if i stay in the sun for a long time with no sunscreen. I dont have that much money to spare so I will only go if I must.... I dont want to ruin my trip. People with this experience help me out. Is it that much better to tan before?

We will go on our first cruise mid January 2008. We are new to cruising, are leaning towards a 7 day cruise, and have a 1.5 year old baby. We're easy going, like to drink but not to get smashed, and prefer to have better tasting food options than mega selection of average food options. For a yardstick, we like the buffet at the Mirage, but are not overly impressed with the Rio which seems to get a lot of buzz..

So, if you are still reading:
* How would you rank the cruise lines?

We can leave anywhere from within Florida, so port is irrelevant.

I'm planning on travelling to Belize. I am not a drinker however I enjoy my, "toots" regularily & on a daily basis. Does anyone know if grass can be aquired easily in Belize? Just a bag for personal use on my holiday. I don't want to go to jail (or worse) just for attempting to purchase a couple joints. If anyone has experience with my dilemma I'd appreciate some accurate feedback. Thanx.

I am trying to find the best 2 or 3 islands to pursue for a Feb 08 Vacation with the family. 2 adults and 7 and 5 year old boys. We want a 2 bedroom villa on the beach with a pool. Cost is not an issue. I just don't know which islands to pursue. Thanks.

As a SCUBA dive master, I am contemplating a move to the USVI. How do people get jobs working on the boats that bring out tourists snorkelling and scuba diving in the USVI? I've been on these trips before. Generally, its a catamaran type boat with a captain sailing the boat and two or three guys who help the people on the boat with drinks, entertainment, and then snorkelling/scuba diving. How do you get this job? Are these easy to come by?

My husband and I are going on a cruise to Jamaica, Mexico, Haiti, and Grand Cayman.

What activities are available for people who don't want to get into the water? I see there's alot of jet skiing and things like that, but my husband and I won't do that. We don't want to do anything that requires us to be out in the ocean. Being on the cruise boat is already pushing it for us :-)

I'm not concerned with the number of days the cruise will be. I just want to find the best deal. When would be a good time to book? and what places would be good to go? I need a vacation!!! :0) maybe March 08? what would be the best places to go during that time?

Sorry about all the questions..
