I'm thinking of bringing my family on a big summer vacation. I'll be going with 2 teenagers, and one of them is fairly shy. I'm also travling with 2 adults who aren't the most adventurous. Which one? Royal Carribean Cruise or Club Med?

Royal Caribbean Cruise. Your family will have a great time especially the teenagers.

I've done both [not on Royal Caribbean, though]. It depends on what you're looking for. In some ways, they're comparable vacations - unpack once, food is included, beautiful facilities with lots of activities.

With CM you stay in once place, can just relax, no pressure to "go see the sights" in a port. On a cruise, you get to unpack once but see several different areas with different type of activities.

With teenagers, I'd go with the cruise, definitely. You might want to check out some books about cruising at your library, to get an idea of what's involved.

Whatever you do, have a great time!

I recommend the Cruise. The service on-board a ship is far better and you get to see a number of ports.
