Tourism and alcohol production/distribution. Mexico is the word's leading exporter of Tequila while Puerto Rico is the leader in the world's rum production. Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, U.S. Virgin Islands, Cuba and the Bahamas also have a strong presence in the rum market.
