Looking for a Caribbean deal. My requirements are a resort that is on a beautiful beach and also has wonderful pools. I'm traveling with 2 small kids, my husband and my mother. It's very difficult to decide. I really want the place to be as safe as possible. I have gone to Dominicana before so I rather prefer going to other place that I don't know. If someone has a clue!! Thanks

I have been looking at Sandals resorts and also places like Cozumoleño. I'm 18 so I need something that meets that age requirement but also don't want to spend too much money.

We are planning a trip to Cayman islands in Nov and looking for tips/advice from anyone that has been there recently. Specifically, we are interested in info about Seven Mile Beach, cell service (sprint phones) and damage from the 2004 hurricane. Any info would be appreciated.

I am 23 and I want to try living somewhere else and when I visited Cayman I really loved it. I currently live in California and want to move by May of next year. I know there are a lot of requirements for this whole thing. Anyone that has some info or advice for me, I would love to hear from you. Thanks!

I am taking a cruise for my anniversary. I am taking princess cruises to their island, then ocho rios, grand cayman, cozumel, and then back to fort lauderdale. I have never been away from my kids this long. I will need to call. I have verizon and my husband has nextel. I don't know if they work in those countries. Would it be easier to get a calling card? Do those even work out of the country? I just need to know what to do. I have never taken a cruise and don't know what to do about emergencies, calls to the kids and such.
Thank you in advance for your help.

All inclusuve resorts for each are almost identical in price, so it's down to what each has to offer? Any input would be helpful.

I am planning to go on a cruise late next year with my boyfriend and I have been hearing that the Princess Cruise Lines are better than Carnival and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. Is this true? I'm not yet 21 and he's in his late 20's so would this be the best option for us? We realize that it is more expensive. Is it cheaper later in the year (fall)? Will we be bored or better served to go one of the other cruise lines? We don't want tons of kids running around us but we also don't want all old people either. We also don't want a bunch of drunk young people. I am sure since the ship holds 3,000+ that you will get a good variety of ages. Please help!!!!

I'm moving to NC, is there a large Caribbean community in Raleigh?

A friend of mine in VA has to go to DC or NY just to purchase certain spices and Caribbean foods. Is it the same way in NC?

I have heard not to use Carnival's excursions because they are overpriced. However, I feel more comfortable doing so because its my first cruise. I picked one excursion per port, just wondering if anyone has done these or has better suggestions:
Grand Cayman Islands- Cayman Parasail & Beach Escape
Cozumel- Beach Buggy & Snorkel Combo
Belize- Cave Tubing
Costa Maya- Jungle Beach Bread

Thanks!!

I am going with some friends of mine on a cruise to Progreso, Yucatan and Cozumel, Mexico. We are using Carnival Cruise Lines. I was wondering if anyone knew if the waters are rough in January in the Gulf of Mexico or if it just depends. We are going straight through the Gulf from Galveston to Progreso. I would hate to feel sick the whole time and not have fun. This will be my 4th cruise and have been lucky on the other 3 to never have any problems.
