I have been to both and I definitely would have to say Aruba. The beaches are wonderful, plenty of nice restaurants, shopping, casinos, and other nightlife. In my opinion Aruba is cleaner and safer than Curacao. In Curacao there seemed to be more people begging for money or asking to braid your hair, while I have never seen that in Aruba. Also the beaches in Curacao are more rocky except for the ones at the hotels.

I have been to both islands. I stayed on Aruba for 5 days a couple years ago and was recently there again and on Curacao on a cruise ship.

The beaches in Aruba a great and that would be the place that I recommend. I had a tour of both islands and frankly there is not much of scenic value on either island. Both for example, are rather arid and have cactus. They are not lush green islands like some others in the Caribbean, probably because they are below the hurricane zone.

Hola.
He ido a ambas islas, varias veces, y personalmente prefiero Aruba.
Suerte y saludos!
