Israel allows in Russians and other peoples with most tenuous links to Judaism, even neo-nazi thugs!, to maintain its artificial non-Arab majority ( I don't think anyone can call it "Jewish" anymore). These non-Jews ( under the halakah) have a "right of return" after 1900 years.

Yet, Palestinians who either fled or were forced out of their homes ( read the memoirs of Yitzhack Rabin if you contest this) during the Jewish reign of terror, otherwise known as the Jewish war against the British ( blowing up of the King David Hotel, the Deir Yassin massacre etc) and the subsequent Arab-Israeli war, have no right to return to their communities and properties after only 60 years.

Israel has the space to let these people in and fulfill the most humanitarian aspect of peace between Israelis and Arabs, yet refuses to do so becuase of its inherent racist policy that goes along with a "state for Jews". NEVER in ancient Israel's history, were Jews a majority but shared the land with others.

I have been to Holland and the first time I have used the toilet I was shocked to see that the design of their toilet is different to waht I used to see. Where your POOP will land on the ceramic and not on the reservoir that is aimed in the front end of the bowl and not on the rear end.. (get the picture?). Thus making me feel that the toilet room be more stinky since the POOP is exposed into the air.

Can anyone explain why it was designed this way?

Choice 1 - The fastest way at 1 month is the student visa but is the most expensive at $15,900 tuition only
Choice 2 - The slowest way is the Immigration Application at 6 months just to get approved for EOI. Then you have to pass the IELTS plus you have to go to Bangkok for Interview but you get PR Immediately and you DONT need to apply to the POEA. Waiting time for approval can be from 6 months to 3 years.
Choice 3 - The compromise is the Work Visa (to residence) which is faster than the immigration process but you have to pass the EOI 1st. You need to be fully employed in NZ with your specialization for 3 months before you can apply for PR. You have to apply in the POEA though as an overseas worker. Waiting time can be from 6 months to 2 years.

My mother is taking me on a cruise for my 18th birthday... some of her friends are coming along but no one my age will be... I was so excited until I came across www.cruisebruise.com which made me realize the threat of real harm on a ship is actually not as small as i previously thought. So I've been here trying to think of how to make myself safe and read the websites suggestions: http://www.cruisebruise.com/cruise_ship_safety_tips.html

It is the one which advised parents to not let their teen out of their sight ever as well as never walk around the ship alone... I was quite looking forward to meeting other teens at the teen hangout club so as to leave my parents to it... after a while being the only teen around will get tiring no?

Would like one that is more modern and good for kids. Also, one that is easy to meet people. We are Christian but I do not want the fire and brimstone approach. Thanks

We are spending a week in Jan 08 on the Gold Coast. Our kids are quite young (1 , 4 and 7) and I wonder if some of the theme parks will be a waste of money as they are aimed at older kids. Has anyone got any suggestions on the best parks for little kids?
