I will be travelling to Mel Maruvathur from Chennai. So please provide me a road route to there and how long it will for me to reach there road route (By Bus).

You can reach Mel Maruvathur in about 2 hours by any bus going to Villupuram and beyond. You can get ample buses of State Express Bus service at Koyambedu Bus terminus through out the day. Mel Maruvathur is about 100 Km from Chennai-

my dear it is 92 km from chennai on national highway to trichy. it will take near about 2 hours from cmbt busstand. you can catch any bus which go to villipuram,trichy,tanjore, madurai,and all southern bound bus.
