They have been used by anti-Semites, some of whom may not realize that these sayings are made up and do not appear in any Jewish source. They exist primarily on the Web, from which you have cut and pasted.

You do not know what the Talmud is. Midrash Talpioth is not Talmud, nor are any of those sources. Most are writings and teachings of individuals or groups. However, the Talmud is a codified text completed 1400 years ago containing tractates on various matters. If your goal is to dig up obscure and inconsequential texts that appear racist, than I suppose you have succeeded. You can find all the sources you want, but at the end of the day they mean nothing. There is no case of a Jew killing a gentile for no reason than that he was a gentile and then having any Rabbinic authority support his actions. For every source that teaches hatred of non-Jews, there is a countering source that teaches benevolence. Judaism is not a dogmatic religion, and thus most viewpoints are recorded. Most anti-gentile texts come from periods where Jews were much beset upon by non-Jews, and to help them was to hinder yourself. The main thrust of the religion is not the texts you cited, and the official law does not include any of that. It is certainly wrong to kill a non-Jew, and the law states this plainly. Perhaps if you learn the actual Talmud, you might see your errors.

I too have done an online search and thus far, have been unable to find the passages you quote. I intend to keep on looking.

The truth is that in all of the religious texts - Islamic, Jewish, Christian - there are remarks and passages that if taken out of context, seem to preach hatred.

I've seen many, many posts on this site that quote the Koran as saying terrible things, but I know from the responses of Muslims that these parts have been quoted completely out of context.

Judaism teaches that ALL are equal, no matter what their religion.

And unlike many other faiths, Christianity included, Judaism maintains that all people, again respective of religious beliefs, have a place in the afterlife as long as they lead ethical lives.

I searched for a couple of them myself and could not find them, so I suspect that you have been duped by false anti-semitic propaganda.

In any case I can assure you that Jews do not view non-Jews as animals, and that Jews believe in the fundamental right of life for all human beings regardless of race or creed.

Edit: Eimittaa refers to the website jewwatch.com, which anyone with even vaguely open eyes can see is a blatent anti-semitic hate site, including holocaust denial. Please don't get taken in by any of its sinister propaganda. As for Moses Maimonides, it is true that he was one of Judaism's greatest rabbis, but he was a very good man and I have never heard that he said anything like the statements you have listed.

it is a transcribed series of conversations. many points of view were spoken, most were discarded. different rabbis said all kinds of things, but at the end, only when they came to agreement was a law set.
