What do you mean by "Asian"? Sydney has many people whose origins were in Asia, some of them have been Australian for generations. There are many people from Lebanon, Turkey, Jordan and other western Asian countries. There are people from India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. There have been people of Chinese origin in Sydney since the 1850s and the gold rushes and more have arrived in recent years. There are Vietnamese, Laotians, Malaysians, Afghans, Singaporeans, Tibetans and probably people from every other Asian country.
