According to statistics, almost 30% of California residents speak Spanish as their first language and hundreds of Mexicans are coming to California by the minute.

Considering this fact, will California become a Spanish-speaking state by the end of this century?

Hi, my partner and I am going to be emigrating from the UK to New Zealand but where in New Zealand? Can you please help!

We after somewhere with:
* good job prospects (I'm a legal secretary, my partner is a service engineer for gym equipment)
* house prices musnt be too expensive
* nice location i.e. scenery, crime. would be nice to be overlooking or close to a beach, lake (i love dolphins)
* dont really want a long drive to work each day
* good shops & activities
* also relaxing and peaceful (if possible)

I think Wellington is possibly out for us as dont like the sound of earthquakes every 2 to 3 months and personally I dont like it windy.

I think our main concern is job prospects and a 'nice' area.

So have I made it near impossible to find our perfect place in NZ?

The other day, I saw smoke from a car that had just hit a lamp pole and I stopped. The driver was in shock and didn't know what he was doing anymore. I told him to get away from the car but he insisted on taking all his stuff out, so I helped him. Minutes later the car exploded, just like in the movies, flames were almost 2 storeys high. Pretty impressive! However, it is now a couple of days later and he never even called to thank me...or maybe he is still in shock...???

I am trying to find a cruise leaving from San Francisco, CA for this December but I have had a hard time finding it. Can you help me? Also what destination is good for cruises leaving from CA? Is Baja good? or is there anything else better?
I am also confused about shore excursions fee. Does that mean that you have to pay everytime you get unboarded from the ship? What's that for?
One last question is, which is the best room that's worth the price? oceanview or balcony?

I drove by a motel 6 today and the sign says 77.99 per person. I was wondering what is the difference between the business of Hotel, Motel, and Inn?? I know they all for resting but I am wondering about business wise, what is the difference. Why should I go to Inn instead of a hotel and why hotel to motel, etc. Just a curiosity thats been stuck in mind for a while. Thanks
