Imagine a God of 100% pure good, no evil. How could this God allow anyone to go to a place of eternal torment? He would know that we all are confused, He would know that we all make mistakes and are not perfect. So how could a God like that "allow" a person to go to hell if they only are to go there in ignorance, accident or stupidity? If God was 100% good and like a father, wouldn't He do everything in his power to prevent you from going to hell the same way a father of a child would prevent them from playing in the street or going to jail for using drugs. Even if the God was to punish someone for their wrongful deeds, I fail to believe it would be eternal punishment if this God was all good. I understand God is justice also, but eternal suffering for any bad deed is far to harsh of a punishment for a loving God to do and is not justice, but shows unforgivness and anger which this God should not have.

did jesus really die for our sins, or could it be some-one else.
i think that it was Judus, if you look at the text. jesus died then resurrected and ended up in heaven.

Judus was condemned to eternal suffering . ie he would now forever be punished for all our sins, for he should a human weaknesses .

If any one of them has any basis of truth that there is a God, wouldn't the God of which ever one is the right one have been seen, written about, and worshiped in other places besides just the Middle East and Europe?Is it possible that places that never heard of the Christian God or Jewish God or Muslim God never heard of any of those "God" stories because the authors of the religious texts... I mean "God" didn't know they were there?Or, was God just a regional kind of God?You know, just a God that only people from the lands he was made up in.... I mean seen in, heard in, and/or written about in could worship.That is, until religious people forced.... I mean brought their religious beliefs to the natives of lands not known about when Christianity, Muslim beliefs, and Judaism were dreamed up by a bunch of guys in a desert.... I mean were inspired by an all seeing God..

Yeah..i absolutely agree with this. No matter how much I pray to god..I don't see any significant changes in my life. With or without selfish motives..my prayers doesn't get answered.

Take my aunt for example...she is so pious and does all the rituals for god and prays and prays...at last her life is still the same. Full of problems and crap.....

And on the other hand,,, those atheists I know...they are leading happy and fulfilling lives.

I know people like to say...God tests those he likes. But how long is he gonna test us ? Will he grant us peace only after we have die?

Sometimes I feel just believing in nothing....

Please don't quote any religious sayings..I am sick of believing in em.

I'm an American born Christian, and chose Islam as my faith (Freedom of religion sound familiar to anyone?) I choose to wear the hijab, long, modest clothing and cover my hair (not my face). Why does that bother you? I don't get insulted when a girl walks around with her "stuff" hanging out everywhere(although I don't need to see that and don't agree with it). If you're just looking to bash Islam please don't waste your time. Thanks.

Everyone here tend to talk about the original sin. I was thinking that original sin is really on big hell of a sin and that is why it is inherited by everyone. Only today i learnt that the sin is that adam/eve ate the apple that god didnt want them to eat. And because of that they were banished to hell. So from this what i know is that if you don't obey god even in the simplest form, you will go to hell. In that sense, its so stupid because, almost every ordinary christian i see, do lie, do have pre marital sex...some skip prayers...most of them arent perfect like what god wants...so probably 99% of the christians will go to hell? Of course, me too, because im not even a christian lol.

god told jesus in the bible(((((Hom brit when he the spirit of truth is come, he will guide you into all truth for he shall not speak of himself, but what so ever he shall hear that shall he speak and he will show you things to come)))) and that is mohamad and one day i was spraking with a father crisgin he tryed to make me become a crisgin im a muslim he sed i know that islam is the last thing from god and the book that came from jesus is the same way that the quran came from and he sed i true crisgin will always beleve in mohamd he sed that in the bible befor it was erast that god sed that a messinger will come and god even sed hes name to jesus he sed ahmed its just the same as mohamad ahmed is the same name as mohamad so i just want to know why did they take it away from the bible why dont crisgins beleve that mohamad is the last messinger from god why do they hate mohamad when they know that he is like jesus a messinger from god why do u play wiyh gods words and say jesus is god!?
