He quote me an example of christians in third world countries who live by faith. Also a case of a guy who took his exam even without revision and pass (I call that luck). He believe his faith is so strong that God will help him through the papers. I means if everyone lives by faith like this, then many people wouldn't need to work for food and clothes or studying for exam. Isn't that a bit of abusing faith by giving excuses for being lazy. What do you say?

About a month ago I had my tarot cards read, and a prediction was that I would receive a large amount of money. I said that I would possible inherit the money and the number six would be in the number somewhere. I recently received a letter from a lawyer wanting me to claim a large sum of money from a deceased relative I did not know. Who could be from my fathers side, who I never knew. The amount of money has a six in it! But I am concern that it may just be a scam, at least that's what my mom says. Should I look into it or forget it. Any real physchics that can help me.

I am a Catholic myself since I was 8 years old. But I didn't really go to church in my past as I am too lazy. Lately, I start to go to Catholic church again.

I've ever been to Christian church and talked with CHristians. I found Christians are all very nice and friendly, but Catholic aren't. is this just my feeling? or you feel the same?

btw, what are the main difference between Catholic and Christian?

I went to a prayer's meeting and realise that each and every person pray for the same things? If everyone pray one time per case, then it will be multiply by the whole church, let say 50 times of prayer for the same case in 5 min. The prayer starts after every prayer request, did'nt Jesus say 'Do not keep on bowing or like pagans; they think be heard because of their many words, do not be like them. For your father know what you need before you ask him'.

The likes of USA, Canada, UK, Australia, South Africa etc are not Christian states but all have official holidays for both or either of Easter and Christmas. What does this mean? What about other religions?

I never claim to be a girl who thinks she is better than all others.
I claim to be Christian.
As a person of higher education, it does become increasingly more difficult to believe in God at all times.
Sometimes it doesn't make sense. But I try to find the sense...and not question it.

Does anyone else seem to have this same problem?

Someone said Buddha was demonic. Is this because he didn't talk about the existence of God? Because he never knew about (and so never accepted Jesus)?

And if he was 'demonic' what does that mean please?

I went delivered my son at 7 months , He was born premature, He has been blessed with great health , He is turning 2 years old in a few days , I am making him a huge birthday card , I'm going to have everyone sign it , I would like to past a script from the bible in the center , Please help me pick one ..perferable one that has to do with Love, children , health , being blessed , something along those lines ..Thanks

How did the Goddess and/or God that you worship now come to you?

I mean almost every wiccan worships a Goddess and God from an old religion, so how did you choose them (or how did they come to you)?

was it in a dream, did you just flip through a book that had pictures of gods and wait to see which ones called to you, or what?
