To do anything , there must be a reason.... So why should you believe in god ??
Do you think that anyone is able to supply you for air to breath ? Water to drink ? Food to eat ?
only god holds us alive with his mercy ... and over every possessor of knowledge is one , most knowing .

The problem with "higher education" is that it is based on what man thinks about a subject. even most science is theory. We have a problem in this world of lifting up things that have only been a theory for about 100-200 years, and turning away from established thinking. The bible is the oldest document that shows that the earth is round.

Yes in the beginning of my walk as a Christian,it was very difficult. It was not easy for me to have faith for my brain says, if it claims to be there, I must feel, see and smell it. But Faith over rides intellect. Read what it says in Heb 11. I think it is why Jesus said that we must become like children, for children don't ask questions they just simply believe. You know another thing which I have notices in life is that Jesus did not choose his deciples because they were so clever or learned, no they were fisherman, tax collector and only one was quire learned, Luke was a medical docter. You know I have come to realise that, that what other considers as unimportant and not very good and clever, God says "exellant material, that I can use to the extention of my Kingdom. So if it make sense or not GOD SAYS IT AND THAT SETTLES IT.

From the age of 10 I started to have that problem, so I set out to find the truth.
After growing up in a catholic family, it was like peeling away layers on an onion.
First I realised the catholic church was a load of crap.
Then the rest of the christian faiths, followed by christianity itself and the concept of a creator and a soul.
The day I realised that when you die you are dead and there is nothing else beyond the consciousness in our brains was a huge relief.
You'd be amazed how much better life can be through atheist eyes.

You claim to be a girl of higher education and yet it seems from your questions that your total lack of understanding of biology and evolution is very lacking

That is the problem, it is not suppose to be questioned, that is "faith".
It isn't strength it is a tool used to control the massed. you know of Karl Marx's theory of Opiate of the Masses? He is right. It keeps the impoverished from rising up against the more fortunate as there is a better life promised to them after they die.

"As a person of higher education"
As a person who just asked the "if we came from monkeys, why are there still monkeys?" question, you're not a "person of higher education", and you just told yet another lie.

How do you find sense in nonsense ? If you are educated, how can you make such dumb statements about evolution and how can you believe in the bible? It makes no sense.
