Ok,My dad was ill,the whole fandamily held hands around him and prayed for his healing and recovery, which did not happen,he passed. The Bible states"where two or more are gathered in prayer" It shall be done.Well,we had tremendous faith in our prayers...What happened? Prayers move mountains? Our prayers should have moved many. Yes,i believe God has answers for all this, and i also believe there are reasons, but we prayed for dads recovery full force and i just want to know what we prayed for now.

Currently, I feel so troubled and I think my life is heading nowhere.
I flunged my major exams badly..got no school to go to...my parents see me as crap and my dad is not talking to me. My anger is always getting out of hand and I have scolded my parents vulgurities(in my heart). I have felt guilty afterwards and this has made me feel like a bad person.

I pretty much know what I want to do in life..but no one is willing to offer me the direction.

I am a Hindu..but I don't seem to find the answers in my own religion. I have been totally fascinated and drawn towards Christianity. I have read the bible in the net and once, a church goer left a bible in my dad's taxi and I found it. I felt as though I really need to get to the church. Another time, a guy out of nowhere gave me a pamphlet asking me to join the church.

Well it could be the coincidence....

Todays expanded evolution theory explains the first born of life like this.

firstly , there was so hot big bang. universe was born.

time passed.

universe cooled down.

then happened some kind of cosmic ooze

then with the help of freaky lightening

the first life was born.

it reminds me of the return of terminator.

when the terminator returned the freaky mysterious lightenings accompanied it.

ans so does the magic stick of Harry.

when magic happens there is always lightening from his stick.

Why lightening has that kind of magical power?

Do we have to worship the lightening?

My big brother said to me this:

"If Isaac Newton didn't discovery gravity, someone else would. But, if Leonardo Da Vinci never painted Mona Lisa, no one would."

So how do you think this would go to religion, evolution, philosophy and such?

Will it all change in 2012 with a technological darkage, or will it be changes in the earth's magnetic field? Or will the end come in 2036 by meteor? What will get the human race in the end...is it a holocaust, or the earth breathing clean air?

Let say that you follow a certain religion i will name it (A) and you also believe in the concept of heaven and hell and since you are a follower of religion (A) eventually you will go to heaven and you stand for such a believe.
Now let say that you were actually born in a different place of the world different parents different religious believes and by default i may say you became a follower of (B) religion.

How exactlly would you evaluate your self as a follower of relgion (B) being a follower of relgion (A)?

Biblical verses can only be understood by studying the original Hebrew text -- which reveals many discrepancies in the Christian translation.

A. VIRGIN BIRTH

The Christian idea of a virgin birth is derived from the verse in Isaiah 7:14 describing an "alma" as giving birth. The word "alma" has always meant a young woman, but Christian theologians came centuries later and translated it as "virgin." This accords Jesus' birth with the first century pagan idea of mortals being impregnated by gods.

B. CRUCIFIXION

The verse in Psalms 22:17 reads: "Like a lion, they are at my hands and feet." The Hebrew word ki-ari (like a lion) is grammatically similar to the word "gouged." Thus Christianity reads the verse as a reference to crucifixion: "They pierced my hands and feet."

C. SUFFERING SERVANT

Christianity claims that Isaiah chapter 53 refers to Jesus, as the "suffering servant."

In actuality, Isaiah 53 directly follows the theme of chapter 52, describing the exile and redemption of the Jewish people. The prophecies are written in the singular form because the Jews ("Israel") are regarded as one unit. The Torah is filled with examples of the Jewish nation referred to with a singular pronoun

Why do some people reject evolution, and yet they are as primitive as monkeys.

They argue like monkeys.

Have monkey-like behaviours,

and yet they reject evolution.

I wonder......

Why do nonbelievers always insist on trying to correct Christians beliefs? Are yall scared? I know that as a Christian we try to change a non-believer becasue we love you and would one day enjoy your presence with us in heaven. But if i were in your position as a nonbeliever, and thought Christians were stupid and ignorant, then I would mind my own business and just make fun of them, and wouldnt worry about coming up with a reason to disprove Gods existance. I think its because your scared.....and you should be!!
