Enlightenment ~~~~> Knowledge

Enlightenment . . . Yet, a person needs the WONDER awakened within them to seek the KNOWLEDGE to gain the WISDOM to come more into ENLIGHTENMENT. So, how can one be more " valuable " than the others? To me they are a 'string' of importance in value.

Having said that I'll change my answer to Knowledge...because without Knowledge how can a person come into Enlightenment? Explore that Knowledge (wonder) and that leads to Enlightenment.

knowledge and wisdom are the qualities of the God which are infinite
enlightenment is the activity of human being which is a short time activity.enlightenment means you came to know throgh some divine exposure( the mode of which may be different for different people) that now you are entering into the kingdom of God.
it is clear knowledge and wisdom are always important before and after enlightenment .even after enlightenment a person seeks the knowledge and wisdom.

enlightenment is not necessary for getting knowledge and wisdom.srimad bhagwad geeta says Arjuna was going to achieve the kingdom of the God without enlightenment. why it is so? because karma(duty) matters a lot. karma is only the mean to enter into the kingdom of the God . treat karma is a force hence it has magnitute and direction. like fighting in the battle for Arjuna that time had the heightest magnitute and right direction as kshatriya for Him.but that much magnitute and direction of karma force for Arjuna was sufficient to open the gate of the kingdom of the God.as today if an army personnel is killed in war and if he fought the war by heart then i think he will definetely attain the kingdom of the God.Also after entering into the kingdom of the God it hardly matters that you are on the earth visible or invisible because after that your duty is to make happy to the human being as childrens of the God
hence enlightenment is least valuable followed by knowledge and wisdom.

I agree with Allman and Sunman, all of them exist in relationship and are all priceless.

Knowledge is the guardian of honesty, applies scrutiny through experience and route learning, it nourishes the seeking spirit.

Wisdom is accountability, application and understanding. The guardian conscience and comforter.

Enlightenment is transcendence.

Value, what is value? The world is a mesh of cause and effect.
Enlightenment changes how you experience the world and how you effect it. It is a great thing.

What do you contribute to that mesh before you get there? Would you recognize and enlightened being if you met one? Would you crucify one?

There is a woman in Korea that was officially acknowledged as a living Buddha a few years ago. She is a woman. Other than a brief note in the media, she is unknown to most of us. We have little or no knowledge of her, nor the wisdom to appreciate her.

All are important and priceless.

My small offering here only scratches the surface.

Peace!

Wisdom is the principle thing; therefore get wisdom. And with all thy getting, get understanding.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom...
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge...
All of those verses have a common bond. Fear of the Lord. Not being scared fear. Rather, reverance. Once you understand that, you will gain the knowledge and wisdom and then you will have just been enlightened to the truth that is the Lord God.
And I agree that love is far more important than any of the three.

Enlightenment is the highest of the three, isn't it? But they all come from and flow into each other, in a way. Wisdom comes from accumulated knowledge, and enlightenment from achieving the highest wisdom.

No, I tend to see each of them as necessary steps and equally valuable. Ideally, knowledge leads to wisdom which leads to enlightenment. Each step is a more direct encounter with Truth.

Enlightenment enables the evolution to implement wisdom from knowledge!

Out of the three, I'd choose enlightenment. Simple process of elimination:

You can be a wise person but still be a bad person.
You can be a knowledgeable person and still be an unwise person AND a bad person.
You can't be enlightened without also being knowledgeable, wise, and self-aware enough to make proper decisions.

No, because knowledge without wisdom is useless, and without knowledge and wisdom you cannot achieve enlightenment.
