You don't really need to read it, You can understand fundamentalism just by looking at the pictures and moving your lips. No need to think at all.

Hitler was not a Christian at all, but Catholic. We don't "play" with the word of God by believing in "Evolution" or such crap

I've noticed that the two religions most talked about on here are Christian and Islamic-based. Do you believe that is because they have the most negative public perception or is it because they are the most widely known?
I'd like to hear your thoughts, but please refrain from bashing either religon as I think it is disrepectful to their followers.

Iran's president said he wants to destroy Israel with one great storm. I'd like to know how many thinks this would be fulfilling bible prophecy. How many think the church will be raptured just before this happens.

The Christian Mythos is constantly altering its paradigm to fit comfortably with the modern developments of the common knowledge. Examples of this are: the observation of the solar system, dinosaurs, Galapagos, anthropian-artifacts, genetics, et cetera.

What Nitzsche meant by the whole 'god is dead' phrase is that the superstitious behaviours of the religious masses were no longer socially necessary... they soon had become tools for social and psychological control, encouraging the detachment of the minds of the people from current technological progress and from a possible collective consciousness.

It only makes sense if he is Omnipotent as you claim he can lie if he want to. You have no idea what God will do if only for his own amusement. He could be like a kid playing with insects. He could feed them for awhile and play with them and suddenly decide to stomp them. Wham! God bless.

There are many false prophets today, like Jesus said there would be. Are you strong enough to endure criticism till the end of this world or the end of your life to live forever with your Lord and Savior Jesus Christ?
Even so come Lord Jesus. I am ready.

I keep reading the assertion that "religion has caused most of the wars throughout history" or words to that effect, both here and elsewhere. Can anybody actually support that statement, or are we just to take it on faith? Because my study of history yields a very different picture.

When you read the objective views on the historical life of Muhaamad, very well documented on all the search engines. How can you follow a man with this character? Do you think he was just a faulty vessel that happened to carry and pass a perfect message from GOD? , do you really think God would use a man of 40 in a cave with questionable character to spread his word? also, Why would a Christian that is ensured salvation by following Christ, want to believe in Allah that offers no such guarantee. Plus why was there no early signs of the prophet Muhaamad's revelations. they just happened out of no where ., Christianity at least had the old covenant that predicted many years in advance that Jesus would come? and please do not post an Islamic website to read up on Islam, answer for yourself.
