i have been jewish my whole life, but im suddenly questioning everything. what are the atributes and proof of your relidgon?

if they are white how come in the bible and koran god said that he mad man from black mud or the dirt of the earth, that makes the original people either black or middle eastern i would think, i mean it is not a big deal its just making my people feel like we worthless because of white superity <==sorry if spelled it wrong just like i found out from one of my middle eastern friends dad, he said that moses and jesus was both black now i don't know if thats true or not i just believe it because hes from the area were they was from sorry for the essay but it ain't a big deal to me i'm just trying to know the true history

do u like spiritual answers, compassionate answers, honest and down to earth answers?

I mean at one point I know you dont believe in the existence of God but as long as the majority of people in the world believe in one youll find yourself discussing this subject.

However I just want to know how believers in God can actually sit and talk without frustrating you too much.

Named cain and abel. Because of jealousy, cain killed abel. God chase cain away from everything.Cain wandered on desert as a fugitive .After a long time , he married a girl far far away. How is it possible to see all this creatures on the earth , not even mentioning countless different species in the see and be atheist , be one who denies all this by being unbeliever? How ?

This isnt meant to be an offending question but is G-D real? I mean where was he during the Holocaust and Crusades? Was G-D created by man to have someone or something to believe in? My step-parents are very Christian. I converted to Islam several months ago, and they know I converted. But they don't know much about it (they think Allah is a pagan god or something). They aren't very thrilled about it. How can I get them to drive me to a Mosque? What do I say to them?

Seriously, as much as it was tempting, I didn't ask this question purely to offend the fundies.

Take this scenario. You are a good, Christian parent, and you are ultimately worried that your children, whatever you teach them, may be corrupted by the Devil. If you let them live and make their own choices, there is always a chance that they will stray from the path of righteousness. No good parent would want any chance that their children would spend eternity in Hell, suffering torture.

Thus, the only way to be a good Christian parent is to murder your kids before they have a chance (maybe straight from the womb for A+ soul efficiency) to sin. You will be a true matyr - sacrificing yourself to hell for the eternal pleasure of your kids - and won't have to go through the pesky trouble of raising them!

Hey, who knows, you may not even go to Hell yourself! That other guy who was gonna knock off his kid - Abraham? - got a free ticket to heaven for that!

I DON'T mean theologically different! I mean how is the character of a Catholic different from a Protestant? How are their values and morals different? Are Catholics more liberal? Which group is generally more devout? Which group is more laid-back with their faith? The stereotype is that Protestants are reserved, uptight WASPs and Catholics are beer and wine-swilling brawlers from Ireland and Italy. How much truth is there to that?

I ask this honestly. I am a Nihilist (basically, an atheist but I don't believe in anything, not just God).

I wake up every day feeling hopeless. For a while this didn't really bother me. I don't need a God but I do need motivation. I need a reason to keep on living. I recently lost everything I have. I'm basically homeless and have $15 to my name. I live with the only family I had that would take me in a piss-ant town called Huron, SD. They beat me and yell at me. I just don't know what to do anymore. I can't seem to find any reason to keep on living this dreary life. I could leave here, sure, I drifted before I came here, I can be a drifter again, but I don't see the use. I mean where does a person like me go in a world full of religious zealots, hypocrites, and emo kids? I just don't know. Please, someone, help me.

Going on from my previous question as to whether you would give up your beliefs if presented with irrefutable evidence against them.

Most people said that even when they would know otherwise, they would keep their beliefs. But let's say that God was proven to exist, would you expect those who didn't believe to become a believer?

Eisenhower said that the reason the under god bill was being passed was because atheism was at an all time high at 15%. How can Christians claim that atheists are trying to pass their values on their own when it is clearly the opposite? The only reason we have the words under god in the flag salute is to rid this nation of free ideas. Am I wrong to say that Christians imposing these important words on our money are fascists?
