I'm sick of people acting like it really matters. If you believe in Adam and Eve, then your people are the same as all other people. We are all related and are just different shades of brown. There are no true black or white people. We are all children of God, regardless of how dark or light our skin may be.

May God Bless you.

Not sure about Adam and Eve, but Moses and Jesus were Jews, which made them dark skinned and probably dark-haired as well (people in Jerusalem are obviously dark-skinned because of all of the sun).

Adam was made of the dust of the ground, but his name in Hebrew (adama) means "earth" or "clay" and most clay was either red or brown. I don't think the dirt determined his color, or Eve's (since she was made from his ribs or a piece of his side), but if it did it would probably make him darker. The truth is none of us were there so nobody could really say for sure (just like we will never know if Adam or Eve had belly buttons).

With scientific proof that the Human race had started its origins as being black and turned white from a defective gene as they spread out across the world, it is a strong possibility they could have been black.

Then again, why really give much thought about what colour they were? It's not as if it has a significant impact on your life, other than irritability, by the sounds of it, and doesn't change the kind of person you are inside.

White people want to believe that Jesus was white for the same reason black people want to believe he was black. We want to relate as much as possible.

Anyhow, it's pretty certain that Jesus would have been Middle Eastern. He was from the Middle East.

And a black Jesus wouldn't make one damn bit of difference to me.

I think that when the Bible was first put to print, it was an assumption made by the transcribers that Jesus as white because they were English. In reality the middle east is the "cradle of humanity" and therefore in my mind they were middle eastern people with darker skin. I wouldn't worry about it antways because in God's eyes all men (and women) are created equal

I'm guessing they were middle eastern - as were most people mentioned in the bible.
Its just a guess - I didnt see them, neither did anyone I know who I would trust on the matter ;)
But really, does it matter?
If it makes any difference to you, its not until the sons of Ham are burned do black people occur in the bible...maybe because the writers of it came in contact with them at that point...I dunno.
Again, I think its an important book with some important lessons and concepts to reflect upon, but skin color really isnt one of them.

Yea, that sounds pretty frustrating. I apologize for those members of my race who are silly enough to think that Adam and Eve would have bourn any resemblance to any modern race that we would recognize. Same with Moses and Jesus. Anyway, it REALLY doesn't matter. I don't mean it SHOULDN'T matter, I mean it really DOESN'T. Which makes it that much more stupid that someone would insist that these individuals were one race or another. You should ignore those white people, and find some much cooler white people to hang out with. We're not all bad, you know. ;)

The Truth? No one know for sure, but since every family on earth owes its name to Jehovah and Jehovah created Adam and Eve.
This is one way mankind can make 1 race of people feel Superior over another, then jealousy follows and eventually war and death.
So does it really mater what their skin color was? Could they possibly have had the best features from all races?

thats true. i think earlier white people may have said that so they could claim superiority and rule over the world. he was made of the earth and the world is brown. however eve was made of a rib which is a white bone. he could've been some race of extinct brown people or mixed whatever. overall it doesnt matter.

I don't think we should take everything in the Bible literally. I mean, what about the story of David and Goliath? I don't think anyone could be THAT tall, no matter how long ago it was; I think a lot of the stories in the Bible have metaphors and themes in them, and not all the stories are true.

But, some scientists have theorized that the human race started in Africa and it could be true. My theory is that we probably started in Africa, and spread out to different continents, and that's why people have different skin color-so our ancestors could survive in the different places they lived in.

The book, "Origin of Species" by Charles Darwin is very interesting, you might like it.
