If my Dad only talked to me through a very old book or when I got on my knees, I'd think he was unworthy of being called a father--wouldn't you?

He walks with us everyday, you big silly! Do you feel lonely and angry? Do you feel the need to try to convince other people that their happiness is not real because it is not in accordance to your belief? Maybe you should try to discover why. I mean , how does it hurt you if someone is a Christian? Why don't you find some real issue and devote a little of your energy to correcting something that is in need of correction. Feed the hungry or knit yourself a sweater. Do something.

I assume you are talking about God. What makes you think that God never talks to us? Or that it's only through a book or when we are on our knees? Just because you cannot sense the presence of God, that doesn't mean He isn't with you.

Maybe God doesn't believe in atheists... does that mean that atheists do not exist?

If that's what you think of God, then He's not your father. I know because He's mine. Everything I have He's given me. Every friend, every hug, every laugh, every smile is from him. When I cry, He holds me. When I'm talking on the phone, putting on my makeup, and fiddling with the radio, He's the one driving my car. He is with me always, because I believe enough in Him to ask Him to be. I am definitely a Daddy's girl.

My Heavenly Father talks to me every day. And he answers my questions all the time. You have to have a relationship with HIM to understand.

Yes, but thank God he is omnicient and omnipresent and that you don't have to wonder where he is...or what he's doing...Plus, it hurts my knees to kneel so I'm VERY thankful my FATHER isn't like that.
