He married his sister. Cain was the first child of Adam and Eve recorded in Scripture (Genesis 4:1). His brothers, Abel (Genesis 4:2) and Seth (Genesis 4:25), were part of the first generation of children ever born on this Earth.
Even though only these three males are mentioned by name, Adam and Eve had other children. In Genesis 5:4 a statement sums up the life of Adam and Eve—‘And the days of Adam after he had fathered Seth were eight hundred years. And he fathered sons and daughters.’ This does not say when they were born. Many could have been born in the 130 years (Genesis 5:3) before Seth was born.
During their lives, Adam and Eve had a number of male and female children. The Jewish historian Josephus wrote that, ‘The number of Adam’s children, as says the old tradition, was thirty-three sons and twenty-three daughters.’11
The Bible does not tell us how many children were born to Adam and Eve. However, considering their long life spans (Adam lived for 930 years—Genesis 5:5), it would seem reasonable to suggest there were many! Remember, they were commanded to ‘Be fruitful, and multiply’ (Genesis 1:28).
If we now work totally from Scripture, without any personal prejudices or other extra-Biblical ideas, then back at the beginning, when there was only the first generation, brothers would have had to have married sisters or there would be no more generations!
We are not told when Cain married or any of the details of other marriages and children, but we can say for certain that some brothers had to marry their sisters at the beginning of human history.

Theists have several thoughts on this question. It is said that it is possible that during those times and under those conditions, that girl could have been one of his sisters. (The birth of women was not mentioned in the Bible as women were more like property) so we don't know how many (if any) daughters Adam and Eve had. In order to be fruitful and multiply there would not have been any other choice. Others theorize that God actually created other beings (probably lesser than Adam) and it was offspring from that bloodline that the woman Cain married. I personally agree with the likelihood of the second scenerio because it doesn't make sense to me that God would encourage a certain behavior to create his people across the world one minute, then later in the Bible tell people they were not supposed to do this. By the way, Adam had three sons. The third was Seth.

Well it must have been a sister or a cousin who was sent to look for him. God wouldnt have created anyone for cain, he killed Abel. And god had created Adam & Eve so it could only be a sister etc...they where all inbred.
Strange these books arent they...
Beacause they are full of rubbish.

Genesis 3:20 says that Adam named his wife Eve because she had become the mother of everyone living.
Genesis 5:3, 4 says that the days of Adam after his fathering Seth came to be 800 years. Mean while he became father to sons and daughters. One of those daughters became Cains wife.
Genesis 4:16, 17 says that he took his wife with him. He did not meet her there.

They had loads of kids, not just Cain and Abel. Ok, so there must've been a bit of incest going on, but things were different back then. Also Adam (according to the Bible) lived for such a long time that his firstborn and his last born would've been generations apart.
Check out Genesis 5:4

First, note that the Bible did not say that Adam and Eve in their lifetimes only had two sons. Actually, the Bible even mentioned they had a son called Enosh. It's possible they had daughters too... about marrying a girl far far away..,. we have examples in the Bible that talks about figures who live as nomads, travelling far away for survival, like Abraham and Jacob. Marrying a family member didn't seem to be a problem in those days.
If God is able to create Adam and Eve, he is able to create other human beings too...

You have to read between the lines.
God said Adam & Eve were the first He created. He never said that He didn't create others. Incest is an abomination so when He said be fruitful and multiply, you better believe that He created other females. We are all descendants of Abraham after the world was destroyed by flood. Why? Because the fallen angels were envious of human flesh---so they malested it---the Necrophylum---I do think that that is specifically mentioned in The Good Book either.

I am the Lord thy God. I change not. If God allowed incest in the beginning then he changed and that makes the Bible false. Fact is there were others created besides Adam and Eve. Study your Bible. We hear of Adam and Eve because they are of the lineage of Christ.
