God will give you, what you in faith will ask.

No, Prayer has no limits, just like Love has no limits. But, do, you only pray, to ask him for something or do you also pray to thank him for the blessings he has given you? That is one question the other is if you pray for something then you have to show you are serious by acting on that prayer and work toward it yourself also. It is not true that God will not give you anything, it is true though that he will not give you everything, but there is another thing you have to believe that God answers prayers if you don't believe that, then, it is pointles praying.

You need to remember that God answers every prayer, it just may not always be the answer that you are wanting to hear. So that you may pray for some thing and you don't get an answer, well that may be your answer, that it isn't going to happen. He answers every prayer, but it may not always be the answer that we want.

Remember that you can not always have everything your way and that is the reason that we pray that if it should be his will that some thing should be done. Since we can not just demand what we want and get it, it doesn't work that way. Try saying your prayers differently. Perhaps read your bible more and that may help you as well. You can also ask at your church, ask them to teach you the proper way to pray and that will help you in your prayers.

Do you pray in the correct way. Like when you are praying that you ask that if it be his will, that some thing should be. Like example say you are praying for some one to get better. You would pray, saying I pray that if it be thy will that (xyz person) should get better. You need to remember that it has to be the Lords will and not ours that some thing should happen. But also remember that you must believe that God will help you when you ask, you just need to ask him in the proper way. And do you ask for it in the name of Jesus Christ. Like at the end of your prayer you say the words I pray and ask thee in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and savior.

You need to remember that we can not have every thing that we want in life, but also remember that God does answer every prayer. He loves you so much, never forget that. Again, ask at your church for help with teaching you how to pray in a more proper way.

God Bless you, I'm certain things will be better for you. I hope I helped answer you question. Pray every day it's good for you, NO there is no limits on how much you pray. But you should not just be asking for things, make sure you pray for others/people in this world, etc....

If you are sure God will not give you anything you ask, you have a wrong mindset towards God.

You have to start by tuning your mind, heart and spirit in to God and wait patiently and expectantly for Him to show you how He wants you to pray at that time. This has to be learned by experience.

When you are praying as He wants you to pray, you can be sure He will grant your desires. When your desire becomes His desire, you will pray in faith and there is no limit at all. This is, as far as I am concerned, the highest state of consciousness you can reach. Some call it meditation, some call it contemplative prayer.

First of all it would be better to ask god for anything instead of bending before fellow beings. Initially prayer will be for oneself and petty desires. As you continue to pray, you will go to the next stage. i.e., praying for others and unknown persons. Finally you will reach a stage of praying for the entire humanity. These are the various stages in praying. God will tolerate any kind of prayer. but giving everything we ask is at the discretion of God. Hence continue to pray. nagarajan.

To pray is very personal and there is no limit to how often one should pray, it is said that St. Francis of Assisi prayed all the time, even when he was with others, his statement was that "idleness leads to sin". That is why prayer is so awesome as a tool against evil.
God bless you and great question.

There is no limitation in praying...Praying is communicating with God. By praying, you are directly talking to God even you dont see him. God give us the things he thinks we deserve. He is not a punishing God or a forgetful God, But he is a JUSTIFIABLE God. He is just testing our faith in him.

James 4:3 "You do ask, and yet yo do not receive, because you are asking for a wrong purpose, that you may expend it upon your cravings for sensual pleasure."

James 1:6,7 "Let him keep on asking in faith, not doubting at all, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven by the wind and blown about. In fact, let not that man suppose that he will receive any thing from Jehovah.

Our prayers must be proper, they should not be for selfish gain

Matt. 6:5: "When you pray, you must not be as the hypocrites; because they like to pray standing in the synagogues and on the corners of the broad way to be visible to men. Truly I say to you, They are having thier rewad in full."

Matt 6:7, "When praying. do not say the same things over and over again, just as the people of the nations do, ofr the imagine they will get a hearing for their use of many words."

The limitation is the limit of the time you have to waste.
Action gets things moving. Praying achieves nothing.

God is much wiser than us, some of his greatest gifts are unanswered prayers. There is no limitation in prayer but that don't mean you receive everything you ask for.
Lack of Faith can limit what God dose for you.

Hello Pretty... :

Even the Pharisees who persecuted Jesus said: "We know God does not hear sinners." They judged the Perfect One incorrectly, and God heard Jesus' prayers.

Where did the Pharisees get their information from? Proverbs 28:9 says: He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer [shall be] abomination.

If you obey the Bible in His enablilng strength, God might surprise you and answer your prayers.

Those who receive the last-days "mark of the beast' will not be saved regardless of their holy-sounding prayers. Read www.revelado.org/666.htm to find out more on how one is saved or lost.

Blessings and AGAPE love, One-Way
