I'm having a hard time in believing in God, I do not believe in organized religions.
make sure your answer is not through a religious point of view but instead a logical and analytical point of view.

I was 6 or 7 when I read the story of God demanding that Abraham sacrifice Isaac (in a kids' book of Bible stories)... I realized right away that this particular 'god-character' sounded more like a bad guy.

1. Can you give a Bible definition of a Witch?
2. Can you Cite Bible verses as to a Witches specifically connected negatives & positives?
3. Can you cite physical description of a witch from a Bible.
4. Can you cite from a Bible the exact crime a Witch should be put to death for and its cite in a Bible.

Please, for a change, no rationalization or implications just straight out Cite with Book and Numbers.

Remember Witch is a Christian invention. The people of the Crafts had nothing to do with it as the Christians who wrote the Bibles bits and pieces before compiling did not know of most of the crafts, talents and existance of many that the word has been hung on by Christian Shouters.

The word "YHVH" probably originates from the Sanskrit word "Ever-flowing".Which is synonymuous to a volcano.

And Yahweh/Jehovah description in the Bible is very similiar with an angry, furious god that will erupt.

And people sacrifice Animals to him to favoured him is very similiar toward Caananites ritual where they sacrifice children to their Volcano god.

In the Christian perspective (more heavy in the Presbyterian denomination), this has been a huge discussion and debate for a very long period of time. If God selects who He wants to select, then those who selected (saved) recieve eternal life. Christian's are "bought" with the blood of Christ. So his blood is to precious to die for everybody (since those who recieved everlasting life are the ones that have recieved Jesus' blood). So, what is this exactly implying? That predestination is only for the "chosen" or is it just merely describing one of his attributes (omnipotence, all knowing) ? Any response would greatly be interesting!

In this section? I'm finding myself searching for good questions tonight. Sundays I can't keep up with everything I want to read through.....

Why do Sundays seem so much better, as far as quality of conversation? Is it because more people go to church that day?

A church in my neighborhood is having an Easter egg roll and one of the Deacons will be dressed as the Easter Bunny. I couldn't stop laughing when I saw the flyer they left in my door.

There are about 1.8 billion muslims and only about a few hundred thousand muslim terrorists around. These terrorists dont even total to 1 or 2 percentage of the world muslim population. However, there is a large scale hatred towards muslims and they are being labelled as terrorists and Islam is also being discriminated. DO YOU THINK THIS IS JUSTIFIED?

Regardless of my beliefs now, I was raised Lutheran. My son however was given a Baptist ceremony by his father (without discussing it with me first). I've heard it's pretty different, but I don't know anything about Baptists...how is being Baptist different from being Catholic, Lutheran or any other denomination?

After joining Answers and reading posts from various users in R&S, I've recently came across several mentions of Christian witchcraft.

Is this something 'new' or a progress in the Wiccan society? I barely heard of this since I came to know about the teachings of Wiccan-based practices/pagan/neo-pagan.

Wasn't it that the Christian concept of God and religion are all out against the Wiccan society? How and when did this evolved into 'Christian Witchcraft'?

I recently became curious about religion. I am a born Sikh, but I have also been learning about other religions to become a bit more open minded. And I have become curious if people actually associate god with a specific religion. If he really does have a religion then why would he send messiah's and prophets at different times to deliver his message and each time the religion was given a different name. Why didn't he just 'name' it the same all across the globe? Do you think that Christian god, Hindu God, and Sikh god are all different and we have different heaven/hell? I am curious to know what people think. I am not trying to start a religious debate. Feel free to express yourself.

Why do babtist preachers tell you who is going to hell? How do they know? This is a way for them to scare you to join their religion. Anyone who says this is not someone to be trusted. Maybe they are upset that worldwide Catholics outnumber them 20 to one.
