why does yahoo answers,in their religion&spirituality section not have the diffrent religions listed?

Question

I am a christian and would be interested in asking questions and giveing answers to christian questions with out haveing to sift through some of the nasty things that are under the generic use of the words religion&spirituality

Should they just put mainstream religions, or include a list of all religion?. Should Christians be lobbed under one title or should all the different types of Christians be listed? Would Satanism be listed as a religion? What religion would you classify spirituality?

So the answer would be not enough space.

Its something good somewhat so that we can be more open to learn more about one another, especially of other's religion and even at times, asking provoking question to know one's true path is. You will find some being honest, some being crappy and some just hillarious.

There is a good mixture of everything in here except that you might get spams and nasty messages/emails from time to time.

I posted this question before and I did get mixed answers. But somehow, I guess its good that R&S is given a chance to prove itself as a community where everyone gets to share and answer one another in order to help ourselves to know more about 'truth'.

Of course, in the end, it is up to our own intelligence to decide what should be the 'best answer' for the question, for 'today'... as there will definitely be another similar question popping up now and then.

They can't. There is no way to make a heading for every religion in the world, and if they didn't they would be constantly bombarded by demands that various religions be included. Not to mention accusations of discrimination.
If you only want to talk to christians, go to a christian chat room or start a forum and only invite christians. If you are in charge, you can kick out anyone whose answers you don't like.

In this diverse cultures we have to seek unity. When you start practicing tolerance, you will not be irritated this much. All religions invariably lead all to the Almighty God. It is just like Everest Top. There is no fixed route. People can climb it from any point in the circumference. The aim is to reach the top. That top point is God. The various starting points are various religions. Once you reach the top all differences will be nullified. nagarajan.

All religions state that all the "other" religions are going to hell. So that with everyone saying that all the other religions are wrong, what's the point? More people, if you look at the numbers, are saying that more people are going to hell than not. So why should yahoo take on the burden of such illogical thought!!!

Have you thought about starting or joining a Christian-only Yahoo Group? If you start one, you can be the moderator and control the content.

The rest of us here would prefer that you not try to control the content of R&S.

May I suggest going to a Christian forum then? Besides there is a gay and lesbian section here and it is still full of self-righteous haters. Having a special section just for Christians wouldn't change anything.

You write up the list of the religions, they might consider it.

Try not to forget the demon worshipers. You know what they get like when they feel slighted, sulky, real sulky.
