make sure your answer is not through a religious point of view but instead a logical and analytical point of view.

when you're making a cup of tea, be sure to look out the window and see the sky, trees, hills, mountains, clouds, stars etc..and see how amazing they are... you don't have to believe in organized religion if you do believe in God...i don't go to any church, mosque or temples but that doesn't stop me from believing in something.

There are things that we cannot explain in this world, and one of them would be why we kill ourselves in greater numbers over something we can't see, touch, taste, smell or hear then material goods. I personally believe that there is something out there, be it magic, a God of some sort or just fate, but none of the religions thus far presented to me have really "fit." I can't believe in a god that says we should be put to death for working on Sunday (Ex 35:2), and there are just too many inconsistencies and things that I don't agree with in EVERY subset of every religion that I have thus far seen for me to believe in any of them.

Just the same, there's a hell of a lot we can't explain right now - for example, why the hell is Mick Jagger still alive? I've seen and heard a lot of things in my time here, and I find it hard to believe that there isn't SOMETHING out there - I can't think of a good, logical way to argue the point, but what it comes down to is faith - the very definition of faith is "Mental acceptance of and confidence in a claim as truth without proof supporting the claim."(wiktionary), and the only way that you, personally, can believe in God is through faith - there is no other way because nobody, here or elsewhere will EVER be able to prove to you with irrefutable evidence that God exists. But then it would kind of defeat the purpose if they could, wouldn't it?

Sorry I can't be more help, but this is something you really have to do for yourself - forget the evidence, one way or the other, and just ask yourself: Does it fit? Is this the way that you feel things should be? If not, then don't waste your time with that particular religion. If it does feel right, then go with it. You'll be a happier person. And if it's somewhere in between, well...maybe try a different variant of the same religion. Or just forget all the religious talk and go have a Johnnie Walker on the rocks. That'll also make you a happier person. ;)

Yes, but it depends on your definition of God.

Any God that dictates behavior that is beneath the capacity of man (such as not respecting free will and instead oppressing a gender or the weak or promoting murder) is not a God worthy of man. Simply put, if a God's dictates are less than man is capable of on his own, that is a God that is beneath man, and not a greater being but a lesser being. There are many religions which worship a God that is beneath man because they use God as tool for their own social control.

You also have to separate God from religion. Religion is a mechanism of social control. Having faith is about an individual having a personal relationship with God (whatever they perceive God to be). Religion is about coralling and coordinating people's behavior to accomplish a goal, whether it's propogation of the religion or just plain fellowship.

There is no best explanation for the creation of the universe - even Stephen Hawking is now saying it spontaneously came into existence. If the leading scientist on the creation of the universe has an explanation that defies logic, the idea of a God creating the universe is just as viable and plausible.

I can only emphasize you have to come up with an idea or concept of God that you agree with. If you want to disprove a religion or a God, you simply have to study it's bible (the word of that God) and look for the logic. Don't study the followers, study the books. People will use religions as a means to an end and it's the Truth that you are looking for in the word of God, not how the people who try to follow that God interpret it to their own ends.

I believe in God and believe that Jesus Christ is God because I'm absolutely 100% certain that the scriptures are divine in origin. The Bible was definitely very intelligently crafted by a higher power. I've studied the scriptures over many years very analytically and logically and I cannot come to any other conclusion.

Of course not. But if you want serious answers using a "logical and analytical" point of view, you'd be best served to define "god" first.

Are you talking about a deist god? A creator with no involvement in mankind's affairs?

Or the Abrahamic God?

yes friend god exists. u see a car moving. it is moving. but do we see the road moving. no. if the road moved too then there would be no motion. the IMMOVABLE is the basis for the MOVABLE. likewise the UNSEEN is the basis for the SEEN. Eisntein said, the end of science is the beginning of spirituality/religion. there is this great force that is running everything the entire universe. religion teaches us to love this force. in a simple way, its like trying to see electrity. u can't see it. so u use a bulb, pass the electricity thru it and u can appreciate the presence of electricity. thats y we have so many forms in hinduism, there r just BULBS, but the CURRENT is god. but friend to find this great force is not easy. its is beyond the senses. the scope of science is within the senses. we experiment by touching, listening, observing thru eyes. but this force can't be smelt or seen or felt with hands. we have to go beyond the senses only then can we feel god.

No there is not a God that sits in Heaven controlling all the universal strings.

All our research point to the heritage of man being seeded by outside influences we call aliens. The masses are to indoctrinated into religious teaching of a supreme being to see the truth. The truth is hidden by our government because the everyday person can't handle reality.

The answers are out there is you would open your mind and see. Start your search with xfacts.com and decided for yourself.

dear friend,
There is no doubt of the existence of GOD. There may be various religions and customs but I don't have any impact on such things. These customs are basically developed by the people but these customs are no way related to God. For example consider about the existence of the world. There may various facts about the existence of this world but this have an end left with no answers. The answer for such undiscovered fact is GOD. God is existing in the world but we people are cheated by Idol worship. Be live in GOD but not IDOL.

I do not think god exists.

Adam and Eve were allegedly put in the garden of Eden and told not to eat the apple. The apple was from the tree of knowledge. Therefore, Adam and Eve had no knowledge of their own. Proof being that they were naked and didn't feel embarrassed. How could they? They didn't know what embarrassment was. If they had no knowledge, how could they know that it was wrong to eat the apple. How can an alleged god tell people not to do something and then punish them when they didn't understand what no means. God was made up (and continually believed in) by people who can't face up to reality and need something else to blame all their problems and failings on.

God is one's extended conscience. Some extraordinary things happen in our life, miracles. Like when the doctor says to a patient, no hope, he lives. we survive an accident. In difficult times, we feel His presence, A sportsman said,'someone up there likes me' every time he won. God is diffusing our Ego. Other people exist, and we should be aware of suffering. God is our strength, our mentor.
God is , not believing, but feeling his presence. we don't see the wind, just feel it and see it when the wind blows. So is God, Omnipotent.
