He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; He opened not His mouth. His eternal blood atonement was necessary for the salvation of all who would believe that Christ has risen.

The aim of creation is to strive for perfection. When people are immersed in delusion of the pleasures of earthly life somebody has to show them the way. That some body should be perfect in character and compassionate and loving. Then only he can lead those who stray away from the prescribed behavior of human beings. Without effort nothing can be achieved in this or other world. When people have become slaves to their senses and mind, anarchy rules. The good people suffer at the hands of tyrants. Somebody has to save them from destruction. Creation is a mixture of Good and Evil. When the balance is very much tilted towards Evil, the creator has to necessarily come down to save the people from annihilation. He may come Himself if the time so demands. He may depute his own also. The torture Jesus underwent at the hands of the ruler of the kingdom is a supreme example of Compassion of Jesus who silently accepted His lot as ordained by God. Outwardly the Crucifixion is unbearable. How Jesus underwent this? He has not considered Himself as the body and mind. Rather He chose to identify Himself with His father. This is my conclusion. This is a great lesson to the people at that time. nagarajan.

That sacrificing the son for the mistakes of the people He created to glorify Him does not make sense.
If I, as a man think that it is utterly stupid for me to send my son outside the house so he would die in order that I can forgive those whom I have adopted and treated as my own family but then rob my house or, put it in disarray and left me nothing but grief....would you still believe that God could do that?
Read the Book of Ezekiel 18:3-26 and see how does God treat the sinners. then tell me if it is still necessary for Jesus to be killed so that man's sins will be forgiven. Jesus in the New Testament said that he came to fulfill the law (as it is written in the Old Testament) then why should there be a change in the law and still has to need a Son of the creator to pay for the sins of the people He only created.
First of all, if you will read 2Samuel 7:13-14,..it may be talking about the future King Solomon, the Son of King David but with that, you may already know how a man can be called Son of God and God his Father. To believe that Jesus was a Son of God like as His own flesh and blood is a deception of the Roman Catholic religion because they have to create something in their doctrine and dogma that will make a good reason for the first Jewish-Christian to split from them.
In 325 CE, Constantinople said this, " Let us have nothing in common with this odious people". This then turned the Jewish as out cast and pauper within the Empire of Rome. This finally concluded therefore that the Beast in the Book of Revelation is none other than the religion that propagate Christianity..........www.thename.ph

God is not the one who either tortured or killed his son. The Jewish religious leaders got the rest of the Jews extremely worked up, & insisted that Jesus be crucified. It was even Jewish custom --on that very day (the eve of the Passover)-- that the Romans should turn a Jewish criminal loose. Pilate suggested to them to ask for Jesus Christ, but they instead chose Barabus, guilty of robbery, sedition, & murder. God had nothing to do with the death of Jesus Christ, other than the resurrecting of him.

If the Christ had been loved & respected by all, how would he have come to be sacrificed? He showed --by remaining faithful through the ordeal of the sheer hatred of his own people --besides that of Satan & his hordes-- whom he had come to save, that he is trustworthy to handle the bringing back of the rest of obedient --though sinful-- mankind to perfection. He also proved that a Perfect man Can & Is Willing to remain Faithful to God out of Love, rather than greed -- which is what Satan accused all mankind of. Now, that has been proven for all time to come. It will never have to take place again.
Parents do similar things with their children all the time.
They allow their child to undergo surgery so that they can get well. It is painful, but it is necessary. In fact, the parents would often be guilty of neglect if they withheld such treatment. In some lands they would even be jailed! That is how widely recognized the importance of a necessity truly is.

No it couldn't, or it would of been, Christ himself asked if the cup could be taken away from him, but never the less, asked for not his own will, but the father's will be done, because of Christ's obedience to God the father, our sins can be forgiven now, not because of anything we've done, for we've all come short of the glory of God, but because of Christ's willingness, to suffer for our sins we all have been saved, through grace ,if we simply except it, and believe in him, we shall have eternal life, people need to except this great love, for God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, so that who so ever that believed in him should not die but have ever lasting life....

It should have, then there would not have been so much dang controvesy over it. Sometimes what seems to be a good idea can turn into something totally the opposite. Many people do not beleive in a GOD that would consider this a good idea, understand? He created his own demise for many if you will. Simply a bad idea, what he wanted to do backfired. Some might say he did it to find the true believers ya ya heard it before and none of it makes sense since we all supposed to have a chance anyway..............that is ridiculous.

God is completely perfect and therefore uncompromising. He had to satisfy his own righteous standards.
A perfect man (Adam) willingly disobeyed God's command and therefore sinned, forfeiting his right to perfect everlasting life along with that of his future offspring. (see Romans 5:12) Another perfect man (Jesus) was needed to balance the scales, which was done when his perfect life was taken from him although he had done no wrong. Why did God choose his only-begotten Son? It fits in with his nature. He demanded the most precious sacrifices from His people (healthy 1stborn livestock and such), so it only stands 2 reason that He would sacrifice the one person in existence that He created directly.

Redemption took a blood sacrifice. If someone sacrifices his/her blood they sacrifice their life (no blood=no life) The greatest sacrifice a person can make for another is to give his/her blood=life for them. Old Testament law & law of goverment took a blood sacrafice to be freed of the rules, sins, wrongs they committed. Lambs, bulls, animals of many kinds were sacrificed, plus they needed to be the best, most pure, animal and not one that was sickly, old, in poor condition and about to die anyway. It had to be the best. Sacraficing such showed true meaning. They were giving up something of great value. Because Jesus was/is holy, sinless, GOD AND was fully MAN was of the most value. God can't die but humans can. Jesus was God and was born on earth as a man. God and Man. Jesus gave up His life as a sacrafice acceptable to God the Father. His blood sacrafice means that God Himself, took the sins of mankind upon Himself, and died to take the sins away. It took something without sin to negate something with sin. Jesus was the only one to fit that description. It took the blood of holy, sinless, perfect God to take away the sin of wicked, morraly crupct, sinful mankind. And that's what Jesus did! The pain and agnoy of the cross shows how much He loves us! *** Note to chivalry. If you allowed email I would have answered your question. Read the Bible. God DID sacrafice Himself... enter Jesus.

When Adam chose to reject God and throw in with Satan, he and all of his offspring ended up permanently enslaved to Satan, sin, and death.
And because Adam freely chose to transfer his God-given dominion over all the earth to Satan, in exchange for the knowledge of good and evil, God's system of perfect justice had to allow Adam's poor choice to stand.
The only way Satan's power over mankind could be destroyed, and mankind redeemed, was if Satan once again chose to commit an offense against the supreme dignity of God, and again came under God's judgment for it.
To put it simply, under God's system of justice, no one, not even the devil, had the authority to take the life of a sinless man, let alone the only begotten Son of God.
So God sent his son to become the sacrifice for man's sins, and once the sinless Jesus permitted Satan and his minions to torture him, and unjustly put him to death, Satan's dominion was at an end.
God raised Jesus from the dead, stripped Satan of all he had earlier gained from Adam's sin, and made Jesus the new head of all mankind.
Jesus gave man his freedom, and now, thanks to the grace of God, and Jesus' perfect sacrifice, everyone has a choice.
Stick with Satan, remain in slavery, and share his eternal destiny in hell, or swear faithful allegiance to Jesus Christ, and enjoy an eternity of freedom, with God.
It's not all that tough to figure out, and based on the circumstances, it was the only way things could have been done.
The peculiar method of our redemption in Christ actually testifies to the truth of it.
Who would make up such an unlikely story?

Because we are sinners. God hates sin. It separates us from having a relationship with him. God loved us so much that he would sacrifice his son so that through his blood, we can be saved and we no longer have to worry about God removing us or distroying us because we can be forgiven of our sins.
