If mythology and folklore is your real concern, why don't you post there? Is it bigotry and hatred that motivates you?

Yes, "picking on someone" because of their culture, beliefs, race, nationality, handicap, etc. is bigotry. Yes, bigotry is hatred.

you always see the answer that it's an old question, and that they are 'tired'' of hearing it.

I don't understand either. A lot of their questions, in my view, are much like me constantly asking folks in 'mythology' what Homer would have been named if he were born in Japan? It's really more akin to badgering.

Such is life - I still like reading some of the q&a -

Atheists, please don't go to 'mythology & folklore', I'm starting to like you, no matter how many times you call God a 'pink pixie unicorn', or whatever it is. Peace.

oh yeah, 'magical sky daddy' too

Is that the tenth or twentieth time this week someone has asked this question? I lost count.
We post here because, like it or not, many people consider christianity a religion. So if we want to find out what those people have to say, we come here. And if we have something to say about christianity (or any other religion, for that matter) we come here.

Because most of the people who will answer our questions are here.

Bigotry and hatred never motivate me.

maybe they just find the youthful exuberance of the those suffering from delusions of grandeur attractive to the lack of response in myth and follklore. you keep your hatred and i'll keep my bigotry for goodness sake . better a bigot in a world of honest truth than a hateful Christian in a world of confused deceit and paranoia.

I'm answering questions, not asking them.

I don't hate Christians, I hate the fact that people are taken in by organized religion and sold a bill of goods. Life's too precious to waste it believing there's going to be an eternity of bliss in return for not living this life to the fullest.

first of all, no longer all atheists don't think that a faith is fake. they simply prefer to no longer place their faith on it. to boot, in case you asked in mythology & folklore, it might take plenty longer to acquire an answer.

Because that is where you can give your opinion about it to people who see it as religion and spirituality. Its not hatred, its wanting to exchange opinions.

Whether we consider it to be mythology or not, it's still religion. That is why we post in the religion section.
