Why do nonbelievers always insist on trying to correct Christians beliefs? Are yall scared? I know that as a Christian we try to change a non-believer becasue we love you and would one day enjoy your presence with us in heaven. But if i were in your position as a nonbeliever, and thought Christians were stupid and ignorant, then I would mind my own business and just make fun of them, and wouldnt worry about coming up with a reason to disprove Gods existance. I think its because your scared.....and you should be!!

That's an interesting question. And it amazes me why those who profess not to believe in God, go to so much trouble trying to disprove something they say they don't believe in. I don't believe in Martians, but I don't spend my life trying to disprove them. They simply don't exist, so why pursue it further?
I believe there is a reason, or probably many reasons. One that I can think of is this :
God set the standards of right and wrong. He, as Creator, has the right to decide what we can do, and what we can't do. And those who rebel against God are considered sinners. Those who want to pursue a life contrary to God's Word, resent that God would restrict them from doing so. So rather than admit they are wrong, and their lifestyle is wrong, it's easier to deny God's existance. You see, if they can make God "go away", that relieves them of their guilt. They simply say, "There is no God, so I don't have to obey anyone but me." And that is what they do. And when a Christian tells them that God does indeed exist, that puts them in defense of their lifestyle of rebellion against the Word of God. So they will attack and say that God does not exist, thus justifying again their life.
And you are right, it is fear. It's the fear of having to submit to the One who created them. And I think also, it's pride. The same pride which drove Satan to want to usurp the throne of God.

Non believers are not in the least bit scared. They wonder how a believer can believe that the Bible is the word of God when there are so many mistakes in it. For instance, Adam & Eve. Apparently God didn't know that if members of the same family propagate, the children are always born with genetic defects including sterility. And knowing this, religious people still insist that it's the word of God. Beliefs are things that can't be proven. That's why they are called beliefs. To this day no religion has been able to prove that there is a man living in a cloud. Yet a thousand different religious sects have made themselves the "Middle Man" between a belief and people who put money in a basket. Priests who were molesting children were not scared because they know that there is no man living in a cloud but, for them it's a living.

Perhaps they do it because they don't want to be held accountable? All they want to do is just have some fun, on the Santa Monica Blvd.
They're dark people and enjoy death and dying, for, they die daily. They enjoy only themselves, and feel no guilt in being selfish. They spit in Gods' Face daily, and don't give two hoots about Him, nor His magisty. They really should be pitied, because they are pretty pitiful. They just don't care.

I defiantly do not believe that Christians are stupid just miss guided. I do not bother trying to disprove the existence of god or gods because there is no point - just like i do not try to disprove the existence of Thor or Zeus. Myths are myths
I wouldn't bother trying to change your beliefs. You have the right to them and to express them for yourself.
What I object to is the propaganda and brain washing that Christians (and other religions) do.
Most of the religious groups are quite innocuous but some groups have such dangerous and absurd beliefs that I feel I cannot ignore then.
Yes I am sered - sered that we will slip back into the dark ages where superstition, supernatural and occult beliefs such as Christianity will over ride science and philosophy.

We are living in the last days, and thats why this world is upside down. I never imagined I would see a generation so intent on hating God and I often wonder where it started. Satan is walking the earth, controlling the airwaves and making immoral things such as gayness a common and okay thing. Our children are growing up with it, therefore the next generation will be even worse. Only a few will go to heaven, that's something I used to have a hard time understanding but now I don't

I think non-believers try to disprove God when believers start to push their beliefs too much on them. As a result, this type of converstation becomes a sheid they use since they feel uncomfortable having things pushed on them so much.
I remember one time someone was pushing their beliefs on me that I already believed in, but he wouldn't leave me alone. So I started throwing him really challenging questions so things would be more interesting.

Because its easier to live with yourself when you believe your actions wont be judged. Its an endeavor driven by fear!
If there is a God then that means i cant serve my selfish needs and have to do something important, like help others!!!

Because most people do not want to believe that there is a God because then could do whatever they want. That is what the world is heading.

You need to work on your arrogance problem.
And it's hard not to notice that most of the believers who responded to this question simply lied, mostly with that old whopper "it's because they don't want to be held accountable".
Think about it a minute, Christians: If your beliefs were true, why do so many of you lie so much to defend them? Why is lying _easily_ the main activity of Christians here on R&S?

lol I hate when people do this because theirs nothing to really debate. If this guy Imed me or something I could totally beat him in a debate. I like how they try to pick apart the tiny little holes in evolution which is supported by scientific evidence. But your not allowed to question the existence of god. And just because they don’t have proof doesn’t mean he’s not real haha.
