Sure. It'll get you about the same results as praying to gods does, though it has the advantage of having a real object of your prayer, so it has at least a marginally better chance of working than praying to god does.

Evolution isn't conscious.... It has no concept of "better or worse"... It is simply a process...
It won't try to make the world any particular way... and yes, it is quite capable of being fvcked over by human disruption.
It is like a machine that rolls dice (D6s)... takes away all the 1s and rerolls all the 6s. It doesn't know what it is doing; it just does it. You might as well pray to a wall...

I actually a bit disagree with u, cause in fact this world is getting worse (theory of chaos or some kind of that), and to be honest, i personally don't believe in the Evolution would make a better world.
But, still u got your own right, u may pray whatever u want, but in my opinion, u do that for vein.
Thank You

Evolution is an abstraction, not a physical entity, so you can’t pray for it to make a better world.

If you want to, yes. It is obvious that many are praying to god for a better world - and that is clearly not working. Maybe evolution can fix it...

All can pray for a better world during their daily prayer. In fact in Hindu way of worship all prayers end with the same request. 'May the entire world live happily ever' This is the daily prayer chanted by most of the Hindus for the welfare of the entire world. nagarjan.

The theory of evolution does not have a God to it's name. They believe in nothing - that there was no God to begin with. So, what are you going to pray to, an idol?

No, it doesn't work like that. It is a theory of things as they exist. That's just like asking if you can pray to algebra or psychology.

No, but you can conserve the earth and support its continued diversity.
Prayer is a lazy excuse for doing nothing.
For example, if you see someone starving, isn't it better to offer them food than to pray for them?
