Try Satellite phone, it is safer. Sometime you cannot get radio signal in a desert.

This question was posted pretty unfairly you're kinda out to make the Bible look bad. But I'll answer it anyway...
I'd trust in the Bible but I'd take the cell phone. I think that God gave someone the knowledge,ability, and drive to create that cell phone. And God would also give me the oppurtunity to have the cell phone for free at the right time.Then as soon as I got out of the desert I would thank God for my safe return.
Also I believe that God would use my being lost in the desert to make me a better person or to accomplish whatever goals he needed me to assist with in that area i.e. advancing my prayer life, helping another lost person, finding something ect.

The gprs/cell phone. If it fails, then God.
Because God has made fresh water drip out of a dry stone once. But a cell has never connected someone with God - well, not yet ;-)

I'd rather have God. A Bible would be helpful, as I crave the word. But cell phones are not trustworthy. I know, I have one.

well most likely neither one will help you, you just have to have faith in god. what good is the bible with out faith
