If not, here are some of the stupid things in both the universe and on our own planet that seem to prove that the universe was not made for us:

Universe:
Most planet orbits are unstable
Less the 3% of a gas cloud actually makes a star.
Most places kill life instantly - heat - - radiation- cold.
Galaxy orbits brings you near a supernova.
Our system will eventually collide with Andromeda system.
The universie is slowing winding down until eventually it would be to cold to sustain life (things are getting further apart)

Earth:

Earthquakes, Volcanoes, Tsunamis, Floods, Tornadoes, Hurricanes, Lightning Strikes, kills hundereds of thousands of people every year and level cities.
We can't live on 2/3 of its surface.
Freeze or stave on half of what remains.
Mass extinctions from disease, climate shift and kkiller asteroids.
90% of all life that ever lived is now extinct.
3.5-billion years to make multi-cellular life.

discourage alcohol and drugs. We all agree that, these intoxicants are not only bad for health, but hampers a productive society.
Following are the verses in Quran about alcohol:
"O you who believe! Strong drink and games of chance and idols and divining arrows are only an infamy of Satan's handiwork. Leave it aside in order that ye may succeed." (5. Al Ma' idah: 90).

It is stated in the Qur’ân: “They ask you regarding wine and gambling. Say, in both of them is major sin, and there is some benefit for men, but the sin of them is far greater than benefit ” (Surah Baqarah)

Compared to the few limited benefits of alcohol its risks and harms are so varied that, perhaps so many disadvantages may not be present in any other thing.
1. It spoils ones facial features
2. Causes heart failure
3. Creates fights and enmity between people
4. Leads towards grave sins, often adultery and murder are the direct results of drinking.
5. Thousands of pounds are wasted in this vice

Well, I'm just curious. Some theist folks are scared that when they die they're gonna pay for their sins, some theist folks are hopeful and looking forward to meet God,

so how do you atheists feel about your death being....the end of the line, ceasing to exist, yada yada yada.

How do you feel about it?

I CORINTHIANS CHAPTER 13

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1 ¶ Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.
3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing.
4 ¶ Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up,
5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil;
6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth;
7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things.
8 ¶ Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.
9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part.
10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away.
11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity.

According to the Marshmallow gospel, you must accept Lord Marshmallow as your lord and savior in order to be saved. If you don't do this, you will spend all of eternity separated from marshmallows. Can you really stand all of time without a single marshmallow.

Also, how can you deny that Lord Marshmallow created the universe? How else could something as complex as the 58" diagonal plasma HDTV from Panasonic exist without a supreme marshmallow? With built-In ATSC/QAM/NTSC Tuners, SD Memory Card Slot, and PC Input, a supreme marshmallow creator is the only explanation.

"That servant who knows his master's will and does not get ready or does not do what his master wants will be beaten with many blows." Luke 12:47

Does this mean I can beat my slaves?Should I follow this?

"Slaves, obey your earthly masters with respect and fear, and with sincerity of heart, just as you would obey Christ.Obey them not only to win their favor when their eye is on you, but like slaves of Christ, doing the will of God from your heart. Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not men, because you know that the Lord will reward everyone for whatever good he does, whether he is slave or free." Ephesians 6:5-8

Does this mean that if my slave does not do as I say then my slave is sinning as well as being a bad slave? How should my slave follow this?

People say that God speaks ill of homosexuality but deny that the Bible mentions slavery and endorses it in the New Testament. They either claim the NT is against slavery or just doesn't mention it.Wrong...

The BBC broadcast on British TV last night the court case of a woman who grossly abused 3 of her foster children over 20 years. She was said to attend a Kingdom Hall once with a sign around a child saying, "This child is evil. Do not speak to her." She fooled Social Services for 2 decades.

I learned from a JW that a concerned JW member reported her and I'm relieved to know this. However, the claim was then made that there's no "proof" she was an ACTIVE member. It was suggested she was not BAPATIZED as a JW, so could not be disfellowshipped. Good point, if it's true. Will the same understanding be shown by JWs when the sins of other church-goers are broadcast by the media? Will they acknowledge not all of them are active? When will JWs say what lovely people most church-goers are? Their literature picks on every example of "bad" clergy and laity it can to prove how unchristian Christendom is. I object to lack of fairness but the REAL issue is the suffering of the children!
