My parent sent me to a Islamic kindergarten for 2 years when I was young (20 plus years ago). The school is just beside of a mosque. Honestly, the teacher and kids there is kind. I didn't turn up to be a Muslim anyway cuz they didn't teach any religious thing there and I really had fun for that 2 years.

I am a Malaysia chinese. Frankly speaking, I feel that Muslim here is much more friendly than a lot of my Christian friend. At least they never comment buddhist or taoist as "believing in devil" or "Your god is a fake prophet".

If a teacher happened to be Muslim, well, that's a chance you'd be taking at just about any public school, since there are an increasing number of Muslim educators working today. The question in that case is not their religion, but their academic qualifications. But if it were a kindergarten that taught Islam as a religion, no, I wouldn't go for that, simply because I am not a Muslim.

I would not send my child to an Islamic kindergarten or any other religious school because I would want my child being taught reality of the world and not religion. However, I would have no problem with sending my child to a public school that had a Muslim teacher or Christian teacher and so forth as long as they kept their personal beliefs out of the class room because only I may teach my child about religion because that is my department and not the schools.

I have been taught in a kindergarten where there were muslim teachers, and believe me, it does no harm to your children. People's religious preferences do not influence their skills to teach or educate children, and if there are no complaints whatsoever about that kindergarten, and if you have heard good things about the education, than you should go with it.
This is like asking "I am sick, but there are Muslim doctors in that hospital, should I go ?"

If they were not trying to teach the children Islam then no I would not. Religion should be taught at home, not in schools.

Blessings to you, and here is a wedding cookie for your question, fresh from the oven.

I wouldnt send my child to a muslim kindergarten if my child was going to be taught the muslim faith. But if my child was being taught typical childhood skills without religion i wouldnt mind.

In Muslim schools the children are taught to hate and kill Jews. Their textbooks are full of anti-Semitic canards.

They are taught to glorify shahids, who "sacrifice" themselves by killing the "infidel" Jews.

Example of what they are taught to glorify:

Abducting Israeli civilians and soldiers in Israel, Judea and Samaria and holding the hostages as bargaining chips is a modus used by the Palestinian terrorist organizations to try to secure the release of Palestinian prisoners held by Israel. Hamas views the abductions as justified and not part of its relatively restrained policy of attacks against Israel .

Moreover, the attempted attacks at the ‘Eli and Tapuah junctions show that Hamas operatives continue their attempts to abduct Israelis even as they conduct negotiations for the release of Gilad Shalit, the Israeli corporal abducted in June 2006.

Israelis living in Judea and Samaria are preferred targets for abductions. They are a readily available target. Many of them, often alone, wait at bus stops, and many of them use services provided local Arabs (garages, tradesmen, craftsmen). The geographical proximity of Israeli settlements to areas inhabited by Palestinians makes it easy for the abductors to move and hide the abductees, and they themselves can quickly blend into the local population.

In 2006 there was a marked increase in the number of warnings received regarding the intention of the Palestinian terrorist organizations to abduct Israelis, and the number of actual abductions also increased.

In 2006 the terrorist organizations carried out three abductions, the most notable of which was that of Corporal Gilad Shalit at Kerem Shalom on June 25. Two other abductions, carried out in Judea and Samaria, ended with the murder of the abductees.

Only an insane person could consider sending his/her child to get such an education.

Nah, I wouldn't feel uncomfortable, because I hope that sending them there would help teach my kids to have respect for others who are different than them.
