Jesus died long ago for the sins of those who accept him as god and saviour, so it means those believers who weren't even born yet had their sins forgiven before it was even committed. That means Christians can commit whatever sins they want as they had already been forgiven in advance.

I am going to go on a ledge here and do a what if question with a huge assumption.Here goes

Assume Jesus really is the son of God or God or whatever people say he is and he comes back to life or comes to Earth or whatever he is suppose to be doing in the "end days" and he goes to every single major Christian church and says, "None of you are worthy of being forgiven.None of you are worthy of me.None of you are worthy of Heaven.None of you followed all of what I taught.None of you deserves to even call yourselves my followers for you have used my name to incite hate, intolerance and war and have not used my name enough to create peace and charity.I say to you all that I am the Christ and only I may judge.Change your ways now for you can not accept me and then turn away a stranger in need and call yourself my follower.Change your ways now for you can not accept me and then show disdain, disgust, intolerance, or hate for someone else.You may know my name but have not followed my word."

I'm not sure what the first sentence means, it seems jibberish. However for the second sentence, I interpret it as a mandate to use the same technique of your attackers against your attackers. They hit me, I hit them. They kill me, I kill them. They stone me, I stone them. They shoot me, I shoot them. Note that you aren't allow to choose whether you should strike back or not, but you are commanded/obligated/mandated to strike back as implied in the 2nd sentence and stated more explicitly in the next sentence. Therefore the vindicative nature of this verse is evident, which begs the question, Why would God wants people to be vindicative? Is such a quality divine?

While I was in Australia, I visited the Surfer's Paradise Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum, and I found one interesting article,

The phrase "So Long" was derived from muslims usage of "Salaam", I don't really know if this true or not but Ripley did refered us as "Muhammadens", which is.....weirdly 1910-ish.

So, what do you guys think?

I'm going through such a bad patch in my life. I'm a christian but it's very early in my christian path and I'm trying hard to hold on.
It's seems I have no prospects in life -career wise, relationships..but the thing that hurts the most is that - I actually have the ability to..but it never goes my way. Some sort of circumstance makes it impossible for me to succeed.

I'm not good with reading the Bible because I never understand (no matter what kind of bible) but I just need to know what passage I should read to restore my faith?
I want to achieve so many things and I know I have to seek him first and I'm doing so, I want him to help me make friends (I'm so anti social..I dont even know why..people always look at me and think I'm stuck up but (maybe by the way I look) but I'm overly shy..its ridiculous - I even hate talking on the phone...my heart races! I know its stupid..anyway please help if you can

Their claim is that since atheists have no religion, then they don't belong here. I find this completely stupid. Do you have to be pregnant or a parent to go the "Pregnancy and Parenting section"? Do you have to have a pet to go to the "Pets" section?
NO....Atheists are here because we have an opinion on religion. And most of us, (like the in the pet section, people who have HAD pets but don't currently have one) is exactly the same concept as a Christian turned atheist. Even though we don't have a religion (pet) anymore.....does not mean we have no say in the religion (pet) section.
Atheists, do you agree? And religionists (or those who have asked 'why are atheists in this section')....do you understand now?

Whats the easiest way to learn a surah?
Im trying to learn Surah Al-Mulk but its really hard :-(
Ive been listening to it on my Ipod for the past...almost 2 hours!
I havent even memorized the first line :-(
Im sooo frustrated, so tell me whats the easiest way for you to learn a surah, maybe your way is easier than mine...????

3 pesons die from an accident. the three are equally good, equal age/sex etc...

the only difference is that one is an atheist, one is a christian, one worships zeus.

if the christians are right, and god had to choose two persons(no more/less) to go to heaven for eternity, which ones would he choose and why?

if the zeus person is right and zeus had to choose two persons(no more/less) to go to heaven/olympus/some happy place for eternity which ones would he choose and why?

obviously if the atheist is right, they just all cease to exist.

This question has 2 parts, if you can please answer both not just focus on the first.

The bible says and preaches, love thy neighbor, I have actually for along time, he is one of the most lovely gentle men I have ever met....... A few weeks ago I found out he was homosexual...... does that mean in the eyes of God I have to now turn my back on him and tell him he will burn in hell, or do you think God will forgive me for continuing our wonderful friendship

The second part of my question is

My neighbor is my sibling, my brother, now where do you think the bible stands on this one.

Mine is Earnest Angley. I just love the sound of his voice, so soothing, and he's such a jolly man! He also speaks the truth, heals people of their afflictions, and millions of people can't be wrong! He also gives 100% of his God-given power to God. Absolutely none for himself. He's just a vessel.

You know, to update. The times have changed, it's about time the bible catches up. All god would have to do is some quick revisions. Explain the creation of man in more detail, what follows death, make women equal etc.

The outdated version in use now just doesn't cut it anymore. People have outgrown it. It's losing popularity quick and has no signs of recovering. Bible 2.1 they could call it.

It'll be a huge success. Churches will fill again and people will sing praises in the streets.

I see so many complaining if a Mexican lady is with a White man, or other colors mingle.

They preach about how God likes the species to be seperate.

I used to think it is ok, but now, with ministers telling me they must stay in the same race, shouldn't that also apply to my pets as well?

What right to they have to intermarry within the cat or dog family, white with black, black with calico, if I have no right to intermarry someone I like cause of their skin color?

Worse, I see people who don't seem to mind or even ENCOURAGE interracial cat or dog relations!!!!

If they let other animals, is it not ok for humans to do the same?

I have noticed I never see cats or dogs fighting about skin color, only humans, & all because of religion.

Should I stop being human, or stop listening to religion?

I do not think that aliens exist. Here is my reason why for as far as the largest telescopes can see there is no other life. This is so far that even at the speed of light nothing would be able to make it here. Also the bible if or most other religions say nothing about it. Jesus came as a human not as a alien.
