I am going to go on a ledge here and do a what if question with a huge assumption. Here goes
Assume Jesus really is the son of God or God or whatever people say he is and he comes back to life or comes to Earth or whatever he is suppose to be doing in the "end days" and he goes to every single major Christian church and says, "None of you are worthy of being forgiven.None of you are worthy of me.None of you are worthy of Heaven.None of you followed all of what I taught.None of you deserves to even call yourselves my followers for you have used my name to incite hate, intolerance and war and have not used my name enough to create peace and charity.I say to you all that I am the Christ and only I may judge.Change your ways now for you can not accept me and then turn away a stranger in need and call yourself my follower.Change your ways now for you can not accept me and then show disdain, disgust, intolerance, or hate for someone else. You may know my name but have not followed my word."

Would you change your ways if "Jesus" said that?

I knew that you Christians could not answer the question with any other answer then "Jesus would never say that".You se, that is what is called avoidance based answers coming from self righteous people.Sorry, but you will have to do better then that and use your imaginations to answer this.

The humor in this "the answers" is that that is pretty much the message of the entire new testament and that's pretty much what Jesus did (according to the bible). Why is it that an agnostic seems to be the only one to notice? I'd say atheist but it is possible that I could be wrong.

Jesus came here once 2000 years ago and He pretty much did say that according to Matthew,Mark, Luke and John. He angered the Pharasis and Saduccess as well as the politcal structures in Jerusalem. This is what the grounds were for his crucifixion. John his Forerunner said, "repent for the kingdom is at hand". If Jesus said today that we were not worthy of Heaven that too would be correct. For all have sinned and fallen into sin. There is no way that we could be worthy of the sacrifice that Jesus made for us. We are however not condemned but justified in the faith that Jesus died for our sins. Romans 8. Christ our pass over has been sacrificed for us! We are saved by faith in Jesus. Paul tells us that only by the power of the Holy Spirit can we make this claim. If we are listening to Holy Spirit and he dwells in us then we ought to be trying to live the way Jesus would have us to live in Love. Jesus said before He ascended into heaven that We are to "feed His lambs" that means not turning away the stranger, promoting violence or hate. I think your question is a great one. I am sorry that people got offended before they realized that these are the questions that every Christian ought to be asking themselves.

First of all, as a Christian, I can only comment about my personal relationship with Christ. I can't decide or declare what is best for another person. How he or she dictates his life is up to them. As for me, I know that I am unworthy to be accepted into "Heaven", but I also believe in Christ and accept Him as my personal Savior. I know that through His grace that I will be received into Heaven. If I am asked by Him, "What makes your worthy to come here?' All I can say is, "I am unworthy and I'm here because I believe in Your promises & You as who You say You are." I could never measure up to perfection or even come close to being "sinless". I've made more mistakes than I'd care to mention, but all have been resolved through Him. I'm at His mercy. And, yes, I have changed my ways as best as humanly possible.

.Sorry. Your question cant be assumed, not even for hypothetical purposes. If that actually happened, it would be proof that the guy was'nt Jesus. He would be contradicting what Jesus has already said about the "how" and "way" He would be returning. He would be calling Himself a liar. Also, He would be propagating a "different" gospel than the one He Himself preached. NO ONE is "worthy" to go to heaven or be forgiven. That was the HEART of His message. You might as well ask me for "the sake of argument" to assume that 2+2=3. Can't be done. Some hypothetical questions just call for too much of an assumption. Such as..."If the South had won the Civil War, how would you feel about that?"..The question simply has no meaning. Sorry, I would really like to give you an answer, but I can't.....theBerean...NOTE ADDED: After seeing your "detail" remarks, I must ask you: If you knew we couldnt answer your question, why did you ask it. Im sorry, but it really is a very dumb question. Its like asking: If Hitler came back as a Rabbi, would you ask him, "what he now thinks of Jews"? Questions do not become intellegent by being hypothetical. You are just embarrissing yourself. Please, Please try to come up with an intellegent question. Adding more "details" whineing about how Christians are avoiding your question is just silly. Poor, Poor, little ol' you.....theBerean

First Gods word is clear that there will be a group of those who think there going and there not, Jesus says to them begone away from me, I never knew you! Nor everyone who goes to church is Born again, the ones who have received Gods spirit in John 3 and become born again will be saved the others who are just playing church are in for a shock! Mathew.

Jesus does want us to follow His words...there is scripture that says you will know them by their fruits...sadly there are church people and yes even those who call themselves Christians who don't seem to act like it...however it is still not for us to judge..but rather Jesus. Knowing this we must then forgive our brothers and sisters when they continue to sin...we must pray that God helps us to walk in His ways through the help of the Holy Spirit....

Honey, if someone claiming to be Christ went around and said all those things, he would be put on forms and taken to the nearest psychiatric hospital and heavily medicated, and the people he spoke to would be elated that they did not have to change. I see your question and understand it fully, there is no answer as there is no higher being. Just an excuse for people to justify biggoted bad behavior.
