What if you're wrong, and the Lipps, Inc, (female) version of the song "Funkytown" is far better than the Pseudo Echo (male) version? What have you got to lose?

I happen to think that both versions stand on their own merits.

Never heard of the Funkytown Wager before...

I will completely disagree with you and say that the Selena version of Funkytown was the best.

The song is crappy no matter who sings it.

Pseudo Echo's version is slightly better because a) they don't take themselves too seriously, and b) there's a tasty little guitar solo in the middle.

You have bested me already with your musical insight. I am afraid that I am a musical Philistine, one of my many failings, I bow to your superior knowledge in this arena.

Peace from a Buddhist..

Musically speaking nothing much. Religiously speaking, wasting a whole life living to the laws of god that doesn't exist and missing out on all those fun sins like gluttony, lust, and on a Sunday, sloth.

I never liked that song anyway, though it clings, leech-like, to my unwilling memory. So it doesn't matter.
