people often quote "it says so in the bible". but how can one be sure of the accuracy of the bible? it was written by humans who may have doctored it or made mistakes. How can a story of adam and eve be so accurate after a million years ?

I want to know why all the bashers hate Christians... and what Christians think needs to change in their own religion.

Please answer this too, would America be a bad place if we followed these Chiristian teaching?

Thou shall not committ murder.

Thou shall not steal.

Thou shall not committ adultry.

Thou shall not bear false witness.

Thou shall not covet.

(for those that don't know, these are the last six commandments, the ones that deal with you relationship with other people, rather than with God...)

Why do Christians say, "Even if you commited murder but accept Jesus into your heart you will be forgiven."

I have a hard time believing this. These people took an innocent life. Why should they have God's forgivness and get a free pass into heaven because they have "reformed?" Do you honestly think that the Lord will let child rapists and men who murder their pregnant wives into the pearly gates? Why?

But if Jesus is God, then, who, gave him the authority and why? I mean who needs to give authority to God, God already has all the authority, he doesn't need it to be given to him.Correct me if I'm wrong but I thought God is the highest there is none above him.????

I am in the most quiet way.
To cut a long story short, I have faced dying many times & priests & a preacher gave me my last rights,As I would lay 'dead to the world' so to speak.
One of the worst times I remember most of, is having a tragic accident on a horse, I used to ride Campdraft on in local Rodeos.
I woke up one day in intensive care, after coming out of a coma. 11 broken bones. I could only see out of one eye, Drips & only the Lord knows what, coming out of myself.
I learned, by this most beautiful large African American man I deeply love & thank, how to walk again. He encouaged me to keep pressing on & I'd listen to him,
I went to the burns unit for skin grafts later.
Though my family (father had left a while ago) were not religous of

I've read this countless times. Now, why would a "loving" and "forgiving" deity, pass along misery, death, starvation and strife to the descendants of the creature he himself created?
I mean when a parent dies in jail, do we bring the child to prison to finish the sentence? No, of course not, that would be stupid wouldn't it?
So, why would your god continually punish the offspring of the offspring of adam and eve for something they had no part in?
