This question is mostly aimed at religious people, but agnostics and atheists should feel free to express their view.

By good I mean moral, alturistic to other people (both relatives and sttangers etc.

I have to state that I am a staunch atheist and I think I'm pretty 'good'.

I'm very interested to see what the christians, catholics, muslims going to try to answer this question!
I know already, that MOST of the answers are going to be SO funny, so much like religious beliefs, like the People believing the religious beliefs!!!

It's hard to believe that there are so many people who DO believe in lies and the deception of their religion.

I know HOW Jesus must have felt, trying to instruct people of the Truth, who for all their lives, believe in lies and the deception of their religion.

How are people going to know WHAT the Truth is, when ALL their lives they have believed in lies and religious deception???

It is not that I am at one right now, but often I do find myself at one.
Example-I recently had a job, wanted a better one, faxed out some resumes and offers rolled in at me....it came down to two, both decent offers, and I had to decide which to take within the day!
This is a pretty good example of what I mean, having to get in prayer and get an answer, with a short amount of time!
Given enough time, I'll get a warm fuzzy, or a word or something...what do you believers out there do though, when youre at a crossroads? TY much

He is a very vengeful God...... all pissed off about something we did thousands of years ago. He just can't get over it, so he doesn't care who he hurts. Children, puppies, it doesn't matter to him, so long as it makes us sad.
