There is no best way. Evey person must find the truth for themselves, whatever that truth is. It's not for us to interfere in other peoples lives.

Lies according to whom? Because your truth could very well be someone else's lies. They are probably wondering how t get YOU to see how your beliefs are lies and deception.
All you can (and should) do is to give a reason for the hope that is in you. LIsten to others when they do the same. Let's not start with the "You're gonna go to hell if you don't believe like I do" stuff.

I understand how you feel. Unfortunately you are never going to convince them. They don't want to know. There is a lot of proof out there that any interested person could find to prove to them that the Bible is not the infallible word of God. It is my opinion that since the religion is based on the bible if the bible can be proved to be flawed then so is the religion by default as well as all other religions based on the old testament.
It doesn't matter if you gathered all of the evidence together and public ally displayed it MOST of them would still refuse to believe because they are afraid to have their belief systems shattered. That is a really scary thought to find out that everything you have been told all of your life is a lie. Not many people are ready to handle that.
And as far as allowing people to believe what they want to believe, I would go along with that EXCEPT for the fact that they are the majority and they are trying to force their beliefs upon the rest of us through politics and trying to but their beliefs into laws that we are supposed to accept also.
Taking this into consideration it seems that someone needs to educate them in these matters. However, we will unfortunately have to wait until the current generation dies out. Then hopefully the younger generations can be educated through the help of research into organized religion, the bible, history, mythology, science, Quantum Physics and other things that can be proved.

It sounds like you yourself are religious, so when trying to explain to other people that they are just believing in lies and deception, just tell them why you believe in the lies and deception. It will make them feel a lot better (though I can't guarantee that they will be running of to the church with you).

How do you know they are wrong? False religion is dangerous but I believe that there is truth. We are told not to neglect the gathering together of believers. Therefore, we have organized religion.
It is not your place to make people believe that they are beliveing lies and deceptions from a self superior attitude. What you can do is talk with them openly and honestly and actually listen to what they believe and why. People are much smarter than you are giving them credit for.

Who are you to say what is true and what isn't? Do you have any proof or back up to these things. You can't just tell people what they believe is a lie. Maybe what you believe is a lie! Every person chooses and finds in themself the truth. We need to listen to the Holy ghost, our hearts, our minds, and our feelings. I don't think anyone will accept the fact that YOU say their religious beliefs aren't true.

The sins of these people will convince them. Religion does not remove the weight of the sins. Also, no religion in the world can convince people that they are saved. At best, other religions give the believers a chance of being saved if they follow the religion closely.
The best way to spread the gospel is to tell other people that Jesus is the Son of God sent to save humankind. He died in our place to take on him the guilt of our sins.
Also, we don't have to worry about convincing people. God does that. He convinces people of sin so that they may believe and repent. We just have to spread the news.

I don't believe in telling people they are wrong in what they believe even if it isn't the truth. If you go and try to tell people they are wrong and what they believe is lies and deception, they won't want to listen to what you have to say. I believe living your life for God is an example in itself. I am always open to peoples questions about my beliefs as a christian, but you shouldn't force it down their throughts! Jesus showed everyone love and that is how they believed in Him, as God's chosen we should do the same!!!

I am sorry to discourage you but there is no way that you can make people believe that their religious beliefs are a bunch of deceptive lies, and this is the real problem!!!

Humans are neurologically predisposed to erect a pattern of beliefs, a background set of assumptions that allow for basic decisions.
Most of the beliefs that we have are not arrived at by pure reason, however much we may flatter ourselves that they are.
Before one begins attacking the "lies and deception" in other's beliefs, it my good to root out the "lies and deception" in one's own.

Each religion provides for the follower guidelines to live by. Alot of people need these guidelines but most unfortunately try to push it down the throats of others. We all should try to respect each and everyones beliefs. As long as the religion is preaching love and not hate, open mindedness for all, and not to spread hate and bigotry I am all for it. But its in the minds of the individual that it gets confusing and they interpret it their own way and start preaching and thats when God is saying hey you who do you think you are? As I have said before God I am sure didnt say hey you Christians all of you this way and all the rest go right. God is just, fair and available for all that seek him right? So there are different paths but one route. Let go of the bigotry hatred and small mindedness and you will all find a way to find peace and love in your hearts.
