as much as I promote people not depending on others for their beliefs, if *nobody* else "gets it" at all, then you probably should do one of two things. or rather, one than the other.
1) expand your horizons. talk to more and different people. theres almost certainly someone else "out there" who "gets it". at least to some degree.
2) if that still yeilds nothing,... and you still feel the same way, well, I hate to say it but you might want to re-analyze how you see things. think perspective.
for some things there might be only occasional people here and there that *really* get it, and you can just kinda refer to it vaguely and they will snap into the same wavelength and get exactly what you are talking about. and thats enough really.
I mean guru-y sorts frequently have very few "peers" at their degree of perception. but with that theres also a degree of being able to see *why* the others don't largely get it. and they also aren't *entirely* singular in their understanding. just very uncommon, (thus the horizon expanding)
but remember some people who see the world radically different than the status quo, really are visionarys and gurus and whatever. ... some are just crazy people.
and sometimes guru-types wish they were just crazy, when they know they aren't.
all about perspective. ... well that and maintaining an anchoring of which reality your currently physically attached to.

Because everyone has a specific filter through which he sees the world. If my filter happens to be pink, how can I understand someone else who has a blue filter?
