(1Timothy 2:12) tells us that women do not have the authority to teachin the congregation that role has been assigned to men by Godand if a woman goes against that she is going against God.women have a different role to men, they are equal but not in the teaching role, there have been many women in the Bible who have had recognition in there, but the role of teaching publicly is a role that God has given to man, after all man was created first, and woman was created as a helper to man not an opponent. This is why we women are to be in subjection to our husbands(1Peter3:1), it may not be easy at times but it is required of us by God, but I'm not saying that oppression of women is what God is arranging here, that is not the case at all. for in the Bible God tells husbands to go on loving their wives (Ephesians5:25 ; Colossians3:19) So you are right there are seperate roles for men and women, in the congregation teaching is not allowed for women because it is a privilidge given to men, after all man was created first, there has to be some order to follow.

Your reference is not quite right. You wanted 1Tim2:12.
Even that is not speaking of women being pastors or preachers. It means that in the home, the man is the teacher and the woman is to not to contradict him.

As for your question and response, Anna was a prophetess spoke of Jesus to all that looked for redemption in Jerusalem.
Luke 2:36-38.
More references Acts 2:16-21, Joel 2:28-34.
You see, when the Spirit of God calls a person to preach, it is not important about the gender of the person. Some will justify saying no about women pastors based only on our starting verse. Paul spoke of the gifts of the Spirit in 1Cor.12.
He never stated that only men would be given the gift of teaching. The Spirit administers them to whomever God says.

My wife ministers in our county jail to the women. As a Christian husband, I support her all the way. If the Holy Spirit were to reveal that she was out of line or wrong, she would stop. If you still feel that women shouldn't preach the word of God, then you are saying that women cannot be saved. Even Jesus said that we (meaning all who believe in Him) are to go into all the world and minister His word. Matthew 28;19,20.

Finally, if you hear a woman pastor, ask yourself this question.
Does the message I'm hearing line up with the word of God?

Pray about this and ask the Father to give you wisdom and understanding concerning this matter.

It is not forbidden. There are some significant women in the bible who loved God and God has used them for various purposes. I was annointed recently and I have a strong feeling to witness to others about God and Jesus is the only way to Him which is inspired by the Holy Spirit.
And though I dont listen when women preach, after annointing, I have seen some women in my home country having the power and gifts of Holy Spirit to heal, drive out demons in Jesus name.
Jesus saying samaritan woman at the well to tell others is a good example in Jesus time.
But Men preachers are indeed powerful as God has created them strong than women.
And I was asked by God to submit to my husband and obey Him. And being woman I feel put down by others, but to do the work of God there is always persecution even for men.

There are diverse factors do those verses. the 1st is that females are no longer allowed to be pastors ever. the 2d is that that's a command specially to the church Timothy grow to be ministering to. In those days it grow to be no longer perfect in the lifestyle for a females to be a instructor. females have been uneducated and the church grow to be the 1st time they have been "taught". for this reason some say the girls have been so excited with their new-got here across freedom they went "overboard". in case you study throughout the recent testomony you will see many places the place females are counseled for being workers in the church. in reality Aquilla and his spouse Priscilla taught Appolos and have been counseled for this.

From 1 Corinthians (ESV Translation)
1Co 14:34 the women should keep silent in the churches. For they are not permitted to speak, but should be in submission, as the Law also says.
1Co 14:35 If there is anything they desire to learn, let them ask their husbands at home. For it is shameful for a woman to speak in church.

The instructions which Paul is giving to the Corinthian saints do not apply to them alone. These are the same instructions that have been addressed to all the churches of the saints. The uniform testimony of the NT is that while women have many valuable ministries, it is not given to them to have a public ministry to the whole church. They are entrusted with the unspeakably important work of the home and of raising children. But they are not allowed to speak publicly in the assembly. Theirs is to be a place of submission to the man. This rule is positive, explicit, and universal. There is no ambiguity in the expressions; and there can be no difference of opinion, one would suppose, in regard to their meaning.

The expression as the law also says has reference to the woman's being submissive to the man. This is clearly taught in the law, which here probably means the Pentateuch primarily. Gen_3:16, for instance, says “your desire shall be for your husband. And he shall rule over you.”

It is often contended that what Paul is forbidding in this verse is for the women to chatter or gossip while the service is going on. However, such an interpretation is not supportable. The word here translated speak (laleo) did not mean to chatter in Koine Greek. The same word is used of God in verse 21 of this chapter, and in Heb_1:1. It means to speak authoritatively.

14:35 Indeed, women are not permitted to ask questions publicly in the church. If they want to learn something, they should ask their own husbands at home. Some women might try to evade the previous prohibition against speaking by asking questions. It is possible to teach by the simple act of questioning others. So this verse closes any such loophole or objection.

There is, therefore, no inconsistency between the argument in 1 Cor. 11: and the statement here; and the force of the whole is, that on every consideration it was improper, and to be expressly prohibited, for women to conduct the devotions of the church. It does not refer to those only who claimed to be inspired, but to all; it does not refer merely to acts of public preaching, but to all acts of speaking, or even asking questions, when the church is assembled for public worship.

No rule in the New Testament is more positive than this; and however plausible may be the reasons which may be urged for disregarding it, and for suffering women to take part in conducting public worship, yet the authority of the apostle Paul is positive, and his meaning cannot be mistaken; compare 1Ti_2:11-12.

If it is asked how this applies to an unmarried woman or a widow, the answer is that the Scriptures do not try to take up each individual case, but merely set forth general principles. If a woman does not have a husband, she could ask her father, her brother, or one of the elders of the church. Actually, this may be translated, “Let them ask their men-folks at home.” The basic rule to be remembered is that it is shameful for women to speak in church.

14:36 Apparently the Apostle Paul realized that his teaching here would cause considerable contention. How right he was! To meet any arguments, he uses irony in verse 36 by asking: Or did the word of God come originally from you? Or was it you only that it reached? In other words, if the Corinthians professed to know more about these matters than the apostle, he would ask them if they, as a church, produced the word of God, or if they were the only ones who had received it. By their attitude they seemed to set themselves up as an official authority on these matters. But the facts are that no church originated the word of God, and no church has exclusive rights to it.

14:37 In connection with all the foregoing instructions, the apostle here emphasizes that they are not his own ideas or interpretations, but that they are the commandments of the Lord, and any man who is a prophet of the Lord or who is truly spiritual will acknowledge that that is the case. This verse is a sufficient answer to those who insist that some of Paul's teachings, especially those concerning women, reflected his own prejudices. These matters are not Paul's private view; they are the commandments of the Lord.

Joel 2:28-29. On the last days, God will use men and women.

If you research some more, there are many women leaders in the Bible. Jesus Christ give importance to all women. He did not discriminate against women. He also asked them to spread the good news about Him. He entrusted the women to "go to my friends and tell them I am alive."

Women are not to be pastors, for a very significant reason. However, people who are liberals will skip over that part, or rationalize it.

They think that everyone is supposed to be "equal" and there is no difference in the roles of men and women. They see everything as "degrading." They're really stupid and they don't have a clue.

It's a truly sickening thought to picture men sitting around in a congregation, listening to some woman preach. Almost as bad as when they sent up that space shuttle with a woman "commander."
