JS, please leave my question alone.

I mean compared to 1800s and now, there are many wonder that human created, such as traveling from one continent to another, space traveling by ordinary folks and advance in medical science treatment.

In short, how relevant is God in our modern time? And do u have concrete evidence to support your claim, be it for or against.

I just wish to read the different perspective on this question.
Peace.

Atheists only say that the existence of God cannot be proven... and a book by a bunch of starry-eyed zealots is hardly proof. The Bible is NOT the word of God, it's the ramblings of a bunch of religious zealots. Sorta' like the Biggie Book of AA; opioions.

I believe that that the hypothesis of evolution is nothing more than a religious belief. Proponents of the theory of evolution would do well to admit that they believe in evolution, but they do not know that it happened the way they teach. They should call evolution their "faith" or "religion," and stop including it in books of science.

Neither creation or evolution can be proven. Both involve a great deal of faith in the unseen. So my next logical question is: “Why do I have to pay for the evolution religion to be taught to all the students in the tax supported school system?” Since all taxpayers are being forced to pay for evolution to be taught exclusively in public schools and evolutionists have had the last 130 years and billions of dollars in research grants to prove their religion, the burden of proof is on them to supply proof of their theory.

So what happens after death?
Does one wait or "sleep" until judgement day? Or does one go automatically go to heaven/hell/purgatory?

I haven't done research on these things, but is there a young-earth Creationist answer to the millions of years it would take to create certain features of the earth?

((I'm not trying to pass any kind of judgments, just curious))

Why dont people realize churches need money to run. Who pays the electric, water, gas bill? The gas money in the church bus? The TP in the bathroom?

For those of you who say that churches just want your money, yes, that is true, SOME of the time. Tv preachers want your money... When you have to PAY to see someone preach, they want your money...

There is a church near us that bring in $180,000 a week. Its a large church. We bring in about 2,000 a week, if we are lucky... My pastor makes $55,000 a year... That is for a family of 4 (was 5, the oldest moved out). My question is, how can you say he is in it for the money? He makes a decent amount, but by no means TONS... Most people can make that working as a manager in retail somewhere. So why do you think all churches want your money, when there are plenty that DONT !!!

I was reading about the origin of Baptist and I was wondering if this was still a belief of Baptist ---- The believer must not bear arms or offer forcible resistance to wrongdoers, nor wield the sword. No Christian has the jus gladii. ---- Is this how the modern Baptist church feels? Do they agree with war of any kind - Is self defense acceptable - And one last question - Are Sothern Baptist their own sect of Baptist?

Okay, tell me this...for those of you who believe it's a mother's choice...what is the difference between aborting 24 week fetus that is deformed and killing a severely mentally retarded child after that child is born? Both would have the same impact on a mother? Why do you feel it's okay to abort an unborn baby, but not destroy a child?

ok, i don't want to generalize and say ALL of them avoid complicated and difficult questions. Many atheists simply answer with insults. Why is that? Why is it so hard for atheists to say that they are not always correct and their belief in nothing doesn't answer all of life's questions? Instead of insulting someone with a good question, why can't they put their ego aside and say that they could possibly be wrong just once?

I think this is an interesting one for the R&S crowd to debate.

What about partial birth abortion...what is your opinion on making this practice illegal here in the U.S.?

It's the proper version of the Bible.

Anyway, when God, who's name, by the way, is actually Tim, sent forth the gummi bears to populate the planets, he kick started evolution by putting the Holy Mint into the Sacred Giant Bottle of Cola, and the ensuing release of gases kickstarted life.
It's in the Libel. It's a fact. you have to believe beacuse it is the word of God. F-A-C-T.

Regarding sins... Hypocricy is the greatest of all sins. Therefore you cannot be mean to someone and tell them that they are going down the Well of Eternal Pain when they die, and then say May Tim be with you.

Read the Libel, it's all there. You don't want to follow the Eskimos do you? Don't be christian. It's evil.
All of this is true. Word of God.Written down.

DO you believe?
