Atheists only say that the existence of God cannot be proven... and a book by a bunch of starry-eyed zealots is hardly proof. The Bible is NOT the word of God, it's the ramblings of a bunch of religious zealots. Sorta' like the Biggie Book of AA; opioions.

Why do so many athiests not know what athiesm is? Athiesm is stating that "there is no god!" Agnostics state "We cannot prove God's existance or non-existance...so we don't really know". Theists state that they believe there is a God without absolute proof.
God cannot be proven anymore than your statement that the Bible is the ramblings of a bunch of religious zealots. You are making a statement that cannot be proven.
You should also keep in mind that you cannot prove that God does not exist either. If you had a box that could not be opened until you die. Would you be willing to risk major consiquences stating that there is nothing in the box? If there is nothing...you lose nothing by believing there is something. If there is something... you lose everything if you beleive there is nothing.
Christianity is not nearly as risky as athiesm. Be absolutely sure of what you believe before you tag yourself as an athiest...more than your life depends on making the right decision. If you want to believe there is no God...at least do the research to know you are confident. Don't look at just one point of view. Read a good Christian apologetics book too. It is worth you time to find out what makes the most sense. Christianity will suprise you. It is not all that your fellow athiests have painted it to be.

and I said all that and at least 19 more books worth for I use to crush Christians left and right, even my own family for 30 yrs.
then G_D choose to make a fool of me. I screamed....can't TOUCH, can't FEEL, can't SEE.
Well He slapped me in the face on all 3, with so much proof of each that I sat spell bounded for the past 5 yrs for the most part trying to analyze it all and figure it out.
Every science test, angel, etc I can think of I threw at it for those 5 yrs. The kicker, I had a witness, so it wasn't just me (hence why not in a white jacket w/ padded room).
Get past all the goop and gunk, get past the building, the symbols, the robes, get past the singing, get past all the odd behavior, get past the fakes, the liars, those on TV who want your money.
Be an atheist and read the bible. Erase all you know or heard of it and sit down, passage by passage and break it down like a report. Lay it out, figure it out. Then see what you get.
I did..........I'm on HIS side now.

wazanna killed it period.
its not only christians or people who believe in god, its EVERYBODY when it comes to whos religion is right or whos religion is the best or whos is the worst, because everyone thinks their religion is right and the best and everyone else is going to hell for not beliving in their god or that their wasting their time whorsiping something that doesnt exist or some **** like that.
In bobs opinion ignorance in religion comes from that feeling when you believe strongly in something and then theres someone else who is telling you your wrong and saying something else and you start getting so mad and thinking that this person is so stupid to the point where you dont want to listen cause yout hink that persons full of ****, bob feels like its at that point and everybody feels like their done listening to what other people have to say.

With all do respect to atheist,
{who I feel like every other group of ppl they should have the right to believe agree or dis agree with what they choose like I should}
why do they go after Christains and single them out? I don't see them bashing Buddhist, Mormons, Scientology, ect always Christans.
If you even mention your belief they are all over it with rude hate full sayings.
You say Give me free will and freedom of choice but you give none to Christans....now lets be fair.

What makes you think God believers are ignorant about atheism? sounds like you are judging people that you don't even know. The Bible is the inspired Word of God and works today in my life...Call it my biggie book to get through life and into Heaven..i'll be praying for you.

They are afraid of us. They are afraid of Reason. Deep down, theists know that Reason can destroy faith. So they make up lies about atheism, and tell these lies to their children and their congregations. Even when they hear evidence to contradict the lies, their fear keeps them in the dark.
